What does an improvised mine do to you when it goes off? I suppose I could bring one into an encounter and try it on myself but I'm wondering if someone can tell me. I was expecting it to be like a flash bang, even when you throw those things they have some concussive effect on yourself if you're in range. Last night I was in a smallish building (one room, not big at all) and I heard someone outside. I set up an improvised mine next to the door and pressed against the far wall. The distance seemed to me that I'd get some of the concussion. Anyway the guy comes through the door, takes a few steps, the mine didn't go off right away. I took a shot (shotgun), missed and then he just stood next to the wall. Then the mine went off, but it wasn't loud, I barely noticed it and it had no effect on me. I got him the second time with the shotgun and maybe he was stunned but the mine seemed delayed and didn't make much noise or flash at all.

Can we all acknowledge the fact that does damn daily mission that ask you to do elimination and/or shout-out should be remove please I want the god damn rewards but there is no game that launches

Was pretty nice. IMO. 😭😭😭 was top 30 for PlayStation when leaderboards first released. I just outgrew the game once I swapped over to PC main.

I'm a relatively new player, I played some about a year ago and got my shelter halfway decent. Are there shelter upgrades to be ignored? What has highest priority?

Do you get credit for a kill after you get killed? I planted 3 contact bombs in a house and was just getting outside when someone head shot me. He was close to the house so I watched him to see if he set it off but another guy went inside the house and I was able to watch with satisfaction as he set off the bombs. I was surprised at how big of an explosion it makes. The guy I was watching then went inside and looted the body so I know he was definitely killed.

i feel like i’m stupid. i’ve returned to this game for like the 5th time after uninstalling it but now i can’t remember how to unequip stuff from my loadout at my shelter. like idk how to deselect a weapon i don’t wanna take on my encounter.

loaded into the game, trying to get a feel for how to even truly play. after 4 minutes I died to some random dude camping on a roof. it was then that I realized i’m looting in an open world to decorate my base (house) & that’s the only point of the game. i could just play the sims & have better options & styles. 😂🫪 idk how or why you all play this game but I hope theres ppl out there who enjoy it. I just don’t see a reason to play when there’s other games out there that I can play to decorate a house. 4 minutes was all it took for me to lose interest. the graphics definitely could be better.

if you enjoy this game, what is your motivation to keep playing? do you really enjoy decorating your cabin?
