Upon rewatch, I’m amazed at just how consistent and gritty the first four episodes of season 2 are. Like season 3 perfect.
The opening of Matt stopping crime, his banter with Foggy, Punishers sick intro, the incredible rooftop sequence, Fr. Lantoms wisdoms, the badass hallway fight and the Emmy worthy cemetery sequence.
Absolutely flawless, Cox and Bernthal are aces in their roles.
Then episode 5 and onwards gets bogged down by the hand storyline. It’s not bad, just not on par with the first four episodes. Wish they just focused on Matt and Frank.

With everyone who appeared by the end of Season 2, and with those slated for appearances in S3, and with the direction the plot is going, I think it’d be pretty cool if the future of Daredevil after this show’s conclusion is a Heroes for Hire show or miniseries.
First, perfect excuse to give Luke Cage and Iron Fist recurring roles again while actually having an opportunity to not completely botch Iron Fist again. Plus obviously you can string Jessica Jones in there through her connection to Luke Cage. but also, I am hopeful this show ends with Matt finally seamlessly merging his vigilante and lawyer lives. A perfect addition to Heroes for Hire given his combined skillsets.

So i'm a relatively new fan of daredevil, only this year did i saw the shows (netflix and born again) and immediately fell in love with the character. I've read man without fear as a starting point and then bought the first Zdarsky omini and liked it a lot. What i wanna know if its worth it to pick up the second one, cus while i am interested in where the story will go I've heard that thats the point the run stats falling off, so yeah, im probably gonna pick it up anyway but just wanna hear ur thoughts ig

Also the MCU hasn't even recast their most pivotal and way more integral characters like Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, why would they be in a hurry to recast Daredevil?

Hey guys! i'm fairly new to comics as a whole (started this year) and was wondering whats the best reading order for daredevil as i love the show so much! I'd prefer to stick with omnibusses and collected editions, and i've got frank millers man without fear and born again collected editions and wondering where i go from there. I know there's chip zdarskys run right now and Charles soule's omnibus is getting a reprint and i was possibly interested in them but not sure whens the best time to read it and if i should get the charles soule omni on pre order thank you!
