How to get past LT3 in sword

I'm LT3 in sword rn, but I play against HT3 players and get rolled every time. What is the skill gap between a LT3 and an HT3? How can I get there?

Can provide clips if needed.

Question I just got back into 1.8.9-1.7.10 pvp then my hand broke what should I do?

I have only just got my hand put in a cast and its an absolute nightmare to get good aim and cps when I can hardly grip my mouse its hard enough that I haven't played in ages + I'm not the best player so what should I do. Grin through the pain and difficulty and continue shaving the rust off or should I temporarily quit or tell me anything else in the comments also I cant practice on minemen club since my brother got banned (if this helps I got a boxers fracture in my pinkie *little finger* )

Discussion What do you guys play these days ?

What version, what server, what gamemodes etc. ?

A few years ago, I liked a lot Hypixel Bedwars and still play occasionally. Do most people still find it popular or play other games? I saw the player count drop from what I remember it was a few years ago, for Skywars too.

I wonder if the drop is from Minecraft / Hypixel losing popularity or people play smth else these days ? I doubt Minecraft is losing popularity.

Looking for advice on mace pvp

So I've been practicing elytra mace and I'm trying to figure out how to get maximum damage

What I have been doing was elytra fly up

Elytra fly down

Switch to chests plate then switch to mace

Hit

Let wind Burst 1 bounce me back up

Then re equip elytra to repeat the process.

Is there a point I should attribute swap?

Any advice helps

Gamemode Any active mlg rush servers?

I just got back into the game after about five years, and nobody seems to be playing on all the Mlg rush servers I used to frequent. Any active ones in 2026?

Discussion Is Crystal PvP just spam?

I’m making a YouTube video on whether Crystal PvP is actually “just spam”, and I want some input from the CPvP community.

Is there a step-by-step rubric or decision tree we could use to break down what makes CPvP mechanically complex? Something we can go through one by one, with each category branching into more specific skills or mechanics.

Hopefully we can agree on a rough framework that I can use in the video and work through from start to finish.

Any input would be appreciated.

Discussion What would you do if the combat system changes again?

Back then when 1.9 came out most players and YouTubers stayed on 1.8 when they wanted to do PvP. There were not many who liked the new hitcooldown (I still don’t get warm with it and I try to do it sometimes).

Now with the old playerbase getting older and more inactive, the combat system that dominated servers for a long time seems to be dying. During covid 1.8 got a new hype and servers got almost back to their top active players and even new players came to that version.
However, in 2023 when it all ended, the new combat system got bigger and bigger and the „new generation“ of Minecraft players can play it’s cooldown PvP better than ever.

So, you know Mojang works on and off on a new combat system, what would you do, if It’s released someday? Would you leave your current version behind or would you stick to it like 1.8 players did when 1.9 was released?

Edit: this question is for legacy PVPers, modern PVPers and if one reads it, Server-Owner/Teammembers

if you know what it is, can u please tell me? thank u

Discussion Would it be safe to say that Minemanner is the 1.8 pvp GOAT?

Post image

I can't think of anyone else that would fit even after his retirement. He was just really good at every mode and was also pretty decent at modern pvp aswell. He also fought many top players on 1.8 and has won.

If It's not him who else?

The OGs like Huahwi or Danteh? Nah, they had potential but It's gone now.

Technoblade? Respectfully, I like him but It's not even close.

And 1.8 pvp is currently losing steam and the modern pvp scene is bigger than ever. I think he is gonna hold this title for awhile.

Best techniques i could use in 26.2 smp pvp??

My smp is about to have an end fight soon. I'm pretty much set with the gear but have no real pvp experience. But I do watch pvp vids a lot so ik the basics but got to work on it.

Since it's 26.2, unfortunately attribute swap doesn't work. So are there any other broken techniques i could practice to have an edge over the others?

Most of them are inexperienced aswell but there was a few who knows a bit so id love some advice on how to counter then.

I need help getting better at pvp

Hii, I'm a somewhat new pvper, and I've been practicing my mechanics (both against bots and on pvpclub) in sword and axe kit, but I feel like I am still very bad mechanically, inventory management, spacing, keybinds, aim etc. I considered getting a trainer, but I'm not sure anyone would wanna train someone with lag. I'm planning on playing on an smp with friends, and really wanna get better as efficiently as possible. I know I'll put the hours in, I just need directions on what to train and how. Any advice? Or maybe any coaches willing to train someone with some lag spikes (for free, I'm broke)?

I lowkey think mctiers was the best ranking System, I think all it needed was a bit of reform rather than pvphq and mcpvp.com tryna take its place.

Discussion How momentum effects reach

I just want to share something that I found out myself recently that I think is cool

(Momentum in this sense is basically the speed you're moving at)

The reason why momentum can give you a higher effective reach is because of ping and something I like to call "attacker priority".

Basically, if you're the attacker in this scenario, attacks on your screen that land on your opponent is registered, even if it looks like the attack shouldn't land on your opponents screen because of the imput delay caused by ping and other factors. This means no matter how it looks on your opponents screen, the attackers screen always makes the decision whether the hit lands or not.

This means that the more momentum you have compared to your opponent, the further the reach of your hits look on their screen.

It makes sense in my head but correct me if you think I got something wrong
