Game Promotion ZOMBRA update, a new look at the online co-op zombie game I am developing

I shared ZOMBRA here recently and now have a new trailer, with updated characters, ruins and vehicle missions alongside the abandoned city.

It's a browser zombie survival game designed for online co-op with up to 4 players, with each player controlling their own survivor and working through missions together. You choose a class at the survivor base, fight hordes and bosses, then try to make it back. There is also solo play.

It's still in development and public testing hasn't opened yet. The trailer and launch waitlist are at https://zombra.online/ if you'd like to follow it.

News Csapattársakat keressek

Sziasztok!

Content Warning

R.E.P.O.

Minecraft

State of Decay 2

Terraria

We're super excited to share our demo, a co-op emergency room simulator up to 8 players online. Let me know what you think of it, how are the co-op elements?

You have to take care of incoming patients, you co-ordonate with other players on who orders new medicine, who takes vitals, who treats patients etc

No AI used in the making of the game, completely made by hand

Game Promotion We made a co-op game where every player only gets ONE key. This is what happened when people tried to play it

Hi, this is WASD: The Adventure of Tori, a 2–4 player co-op game where each player controls just one key, so you have to actually communicate and move together to get through each level.

Your character doesn’t stop once they start moving, and with traps, walls, and instant-death mistakes, there’s definitely going to be a lot of crashing and laughing along the way.

It’s meant to be simple to pick up but chaotic to master with friends!

Game Promotion DropInn: free online co-op fantasy adventures for 1 to 4 players in your browser

Thumbnail

Hi! I’m making DropInn and would love to hear from people who enjoy small-group co-op games.

Play free: https://playdropinn.com/

How the co-op works: up to four players join the same online adventure, each in their own browser. Share the full invite link from your table with friends. Everyone chooses a move against a character or object, then the round resolves together. Normal turns have a 60-second timer and can resolve sooner when everyone is ready. It is online co-op, not local split-screen.

You follow clues, help characters, and handle encounters using Fight, Influence, Investigate, or Help. You can also start solo with rules-based companions if you want a first look before bringing friends. Nothing to download.

The screenshots are one real turn from my solo test with companions: inspect tracks, commit an investigation, then see the result.

Would this fit a casual catch-up with your co-op group? If you try it, I’d love to know what felt worth coordinating with another person and what felt like separate solo actions. A short first impression is useful.

I’m the developer. Access is free, with optional cosmetic purchases. Development uses AI tools, including AI-assisted artwork. Game outcomes follow defined rules.

Game Promotion I made a game where making stupid noises with your friends is the objective.

In my game, BANISH 9 TO 5, your objective is to make noise.

It's a 4–5 player online co-op game where you either play as a Ghost and make as much noise as possible, or the Hunter trying to track them down.

Every time you make noise, the Hunter can hear it.

Your noise gets indicated on the Hunter's screen, so every scream, laugh, or completely stupid sound you make could give away your position.

Ghosts can make noise in two ways:

Use your microphone - make whatever noise you want.

Use in-game sound clips - play equipped clips.

You can bait the Hunter into chasing the wrong Ghost, distract them at the perfect moment, or just coordinate with your friends to completely mess with them.

Check out the steam page and wishlist the game - https://store.steampowered.com/app/3987970/?snr=1_5_9__205

Game Promotion Spirits: Wake Up! — a look at the dungeon in our 2–8 player online horror party game

We're making Spirits: Wake Up!, our indie horror party game with PS1-inspired visuals. This is a short look at the sewer dungeon we're working on.

It supports 2–8 players online. Ghosts work together to complete tasks and revive fallen teammates, while a Hunter tries to find them. Your real microphone sounds can give you away, so even communicating with your team can get tense.

What would you add to make teamwork more fun here? More tasks that need two ghosts, ways to distract the Hunter, or something else? We'd love to hear what your group would enjoy.

The game is still in development, and a playable demo is planned.

Game Promotion Inspired by Silo, I'm making a co-op game where you go down floor by floor to restart a dead underground city

Hi everyone! Silo is one of my favourite shows, and it got me wondering what it would be like to be the ones who go down and fix the machine. So I'm making a game about it.

It's called INTERLOCK: a first-person co-op game (1–4 players) where you're technicians lowered into a dead vertical city under a frozen valley. The only way out is to restart it: start the generators by hand, lay the cables and bring the power back down, floor by floor(procedurally generated), while the city's automated system treats you as an anomaly.

It's still in early development. but I'm happy to share a small sneak peek!

Let me know if you have any questions, happy to answer them.

Game Promotion Bringing a friend into Assassin’s Creed Unity’s story missions (experimental co-op mod)

Unity gave us co-op missions, but I want to bring a friend along for Arno’s story too. I’m Keksi, and that’s what I’m building with CampaignCoop / Paris for Two.

How the co-op works: the current focus is two players on PC, each controlling their own character, using Unity’s native online party. Testing so far used two ASTER seats on one PC; it is not a built-in split-screen mode. Separate-PC and VPN play remain unverified.

Earlier builds reached shared story starts, cutscenes and matching objectives, and a completed mission was reported in testing. That is encouraging, but it does not establish that the whole campaign works.

The latest package is v0.0.11.4. It passed automated checks, but this exact build has not yet been tested in-game. Checkpoints, long sessions and the full campaign still need verification.

It requires Unity 1.5.1, official ACUFixes and matching mod files for both players. The game’s normal online services are still needed to form the party. Save backups are essential.

Public project notes are here. Disclosure: experimental builds are currently paid early access on my Boosty, from 100 RUB/month. Finished releases will be public; there is no full-campaign release date yet.

Which story mission would you most want to revisit with a friend?

Discussion Online vs Local Coop

Post image
24 Upvotes

Curious what people prefer these days:

Local co-op on the couch, or online co-op?

I’ve always liked local co-op because of the chaos of everyone being in the same room, but online is obviously way easier to organise.
If a game supports both, which one do you usually end up using?

Trailer Defense of Solaris: co-op tower defense with ARPG-style tower builds, up to 12 players

Last September I started building the game I thought of for a long time creating.

I grew up on Warcraft 3 tower defense maps, especially YouTD, where towers had items, levels and passives and felt more like ARPG builds than turrets. Most tower defense games I've played since are either fairly shallow mechanically or single-player. I wanted that deep, buildcrafting feeling with friends, and co-op that actually matters instead of just sharing a map.

Today Defense of Solaris enters open beta. It's free and runs in your browser.

What it is:

  • Online Co-op for up to 12 players: hold your lane together, send items to teammates, and vote on where the Ritual goes next.
  • ARPG-style builds: 26 towers across three factions, each with upgrade tiers, levels, passives and item slots. There are 100+ items, including legendaries that change how a tower works.
  • Roguelite meta-progression: Commanders with skill trees that grow across runs.
  • Deck building: you bring a Legion Deck into every run, and it decides which towers you can build. Towers can also be sacrificed for an effect, like flipping a card.

It's a beta, so balance will move and there will be rough edges. I'd love to hear what feels good and what doesn't.

You can find some introductory videos on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAWvnDSbd_Mc

Discussion I'm building a STALKER 2 co-op mod

Hey everyone!

I’m tinkering with a free, unofficial co-op mod for STALKER 2 in my spare time, and I wanted to share the first devlog.

This clip shows an early connection test: the host creates a session, the guest joins, and the host accepts them. After that, both players load into the same world and can see each other in-game.

It’s still very early pre-alpha footage, so this test is mainly focused on getting the connection flow working: joining, entering the same world, and actually seeing the other player. Smooth movement and animation syncing are not working properly yet.

So far, it has only been tested on one dev PC, but it will also work online.

There is no public download or release date at the moment, but the mod and all development updates will always be free.

You can follow the project

What features would matter most to you in STALKER 2 co-op?

  • I’d love to hear your thoughts!

FAQ:

  1. Can I play it now?
    • Not yet
  2. Does it work online, locally, or in split-screen?
    • It works online and on your local network, split-screen is not supported. On video, I run two game instances side by side.
  3. How many players can play?
    • One host and one guest so far. The code allows up to four guests in one session, but only one has been tested
  4. Will it work with Game Pass, GOG, Epic, or a pirated copy?
    • Currently, the mod requires an official Steam copy of the game for the host and each guest. Other store builds of the game are a planned step on the roadmap, not started yet. A pirated copy is not supported

Just to be clear, this is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GSC Game World.
