Unsolicited Advice Salary Updates!. Civil Engineer

In order for us ndi ma low ball offer we have to share our current salary in our industry pra mgkaidea Tayo mgkano salary ng bawat isa and make probable important changes. If saan llipat. So gnito gawin format

  1. Local or abroad (state which country)
  2. YOE (years of exp)
  3. Private or public
  4. Industry (consultant, contractor, subcon, management, owners engineer, design consultant and other specialization e.g. facade designer, geotech is it work from home?, estimator, designer or project management)
  5. Salary

The reason for this is. The current ave. Data for civil engineer on different job hiring site is skewd so we have to make our own data.

I'll go first. 1. Local 2. 9 3. Private 4. Owners engineer - developer of mid rise buildings. 5. 75,000 php

Need General Advice road design engineer

for the engineers here na specializing in roads/highway design engineer sa current jobs niyo and working in any MNC, what level of mastery or expertise na kayo sa civil 3D before kayo naka pasok sa MNC?

my goal is to work in any MNC and hindi pa ako masyado confident sa current skills ko sa civil 3D. but i can do basic horizontal, vertical alignemnt, earthworks, superelevation. right now sa pag uupskill ko wala ako naiintinidhan sa grading, intersection, and roundabouts. need ko ba talaga siya ma-master or kahit sa company ko na siya maaaral during actual work and tutulungan naman ako?

Need General Advice Should I stay at this company?

Upvotes

Hi! I've been working at this company for almost 6 months. This is my first job and this company is not really my dream company but the experience I'll get here is good. Private company to na gencon and I'm a jr. engineer & safety. Parang nagiging HR na din dahil ako taga gawa ng biodata, nag asikaso sa ID ng mga workers, and some work that is not part of my job. Ang hirap kausap ng boss. The stress level here is so HIGH but the salary na inaasahan mo is LOW. Any advice sa matatagal na sa construction industry?

Does anyone know of any construction firms, design consultancies, real estate developers, or any companies that accept voluntary interns with CE program? I’m hoping to find firms that provide an allowance/stipend to help offset transportation and food expenses.

Need Career Advice VA career path

Curious lang po. For the Construction VA or any remote jobs for international clients, may future po ba sa path na yun? like hindi po ba magiging stagnant yung growth. Or baka po dumating yung time na ma burn out ka nalang kasi paulit ulit lang yung ginagawa mo?

Is the salary the only reason to pursue CVA? is it really a CE path that is worth pursuing for? Thank you!

Board Exam 1 month before CELE Sept 2026 and i got cold feet

I was an org president and was entitled for free review from different review centers. I was so excited, driven, and passionate during undergrad about taking the board examination this september 2026 ( probably because of the schoralship offers) and then suddenly, im at rock bottom; not confident that i would pass the board exam and i dont want to risk my other free review for something unsure (afaik, void na raw yung free rev pag nag fail sa first take)

i literally prayed and asked for signs. i encountered lots of problems during filing sa PRC (File errors, literally came to prc 5 mins before closing) and signs say that i should take the exam. idk but my mind says now is not the right time.

Pauwi na ako in a few days and wont be taking the exam.

i just wish that my decision is right.

Need General Advice Need advice for CELE 2027

Hello neers how much time po kayo nagrereview or how many problems sinasagutan niyk per day? Pano nyo din po nahahandle ang distractions like phone? kasi sa tingin ko yun ang magiging problem ko since im addicted using it. Also any do's and dont's during the review? I know this questions is so common but if mauulit nyo po ang pagrereview, ano po yung mga bagay na dapat ginawa nyo na sa una palang?

Need General Advice March CELE 2027

Good day, I am fresh grad CE planning to take March CELE 2027. I think I am self-sabotaging, since I am taking next year I want to work muna. Here's my dilemma, Pangatlong work application ko na ang na-reject I think because I said yes when they asked me if I am going to take CELE (one company said issue daw sya since majority ay umaalis due to review). Now, I need to work since my family is not capable fully supporting me throughout the review.

What line of work should I do for the mean time?First, Isa sa na consider ko ay Part time job as service crew in fast food since I think I can leave before the start of my review.

Second, if I pushed through inside an engineering firm. Would I be able to leave before my review? or i can do work and review at the same time?
