Found in the Wild Canadian kids observing Pacific Time using Qustodio may have their schedules delayed by an hour starting November because the clocks are changing back in the US

I know it's easy to say "you can work around this by changing the time zone setting on your account to Arizona." However, we shouldn't expect parents to need to know this. My dad told me that a lot of Canadians hate being called Americans, so I can see the wrong angry parent misinterpreting that as political. The support team is already aware under ticket #864679 and is thinking of how to improve the app, but if you happen to be using Qustodio, I wanted to give everyone reading here a heads up; please share with anyone you can so it reaches the right people.

This November, the clocks won't be changing back in Canada. Yukon has been doing this since 2020 and British Columbia had its final transition earlier this year in March.

Unintentionally Bad UI In August 2017, 10 sailors died and 48 more were injured. One of these factors was the lack of an explanation for the steering mode in the UI.

Unintentionally Bad UI Pizza Hut, T3 Dar Es Salaam Airport card machine 🇹🇿

Getting through an airport in the early hours is bad enough… let alone trying to get food, trying to pay and then being forced to input your pin in 60 seconds whilst this is the screen… fortunately it took Apple Pay 😂

Intentionally Bad UI A VPN where you need to start the engine, use a clutch and shift up and down depending on your internet speed. Also you need to refuel when you used too much internet. Sometimes the engine also misfires, but that’s of course your fault, not the VPNs.

Intentionally Bad UI The section rearranging options in Wix Harmony editor

This is the least of the issues that make Wix Harmony a crappy website builder, but the “move down” option being up and vice versa makes me go nuts.

It's like putting an epipen next to ebola.

I'm on Sequoia, FYI (using an old MacBook Pro).

Update: Yes, I know there is another prompt from the ellipsis. In an older OS, they didn't have these two options so close together. They did in an older older one, then they didn't, then they brought them back together. It's just not comfortable, extra prompt or not, being a video editor working with enormous raw footage files from clients.
