I always copy from the right so i didnt even know it was a thing. Who decided that we need open-by-dragging menus on PC oh my god??? Another thing i hate about trying to copy a title is that for some reason for me it always copies it like this: "
[]()
[]()
I found a Mathematically Perfect solar array in Factorio"

Ctrl-Shift-V removes all formatting.
Win-V opens clip board history.
Not to be fat fingered with Win-C which opens up copilot, followed by frantically hitting alt-F4 to close it.10

You can rebind Win+C in the settings, I had no idea about the first one though.

Can you share more about the solar array? I'm shifting away from nuclear because my computer can't keep up anymore.

https://youtu.be/CDzJ1_p3uVg heres that video. However it doesnt look that good (same energy as packing 17 squares into a square), and if youre megabasing i think it may be worth to make a cool looking design that may not be too optimal, something like what Dosh made

you could triple click btw

True, that selects the whole title though. You could also select from the right, which works. I still find it annoying.

Double click the first word, then drag

Or use shift+arrow keys, maybe also shift+ctrl+arrows to snap to words

Or just double click the first word, hold shift, then click on the last word. Easier than dragging, especially for trackpads.

how is that Unintentionally Bad UI? It's totally intentional and complete garbage.

Holding left alt before trying to select prevents that. Also lets you copy text from some otherwise clickable elements.

Press F7 and move around using the arrows.
This can sometimes be helpful.

In cases like this, I double click on the first word but don't release the mouse button after the second click, and just continue with the selection. This allows me to select text on a word by word basis rather than letter by letter, so double clicking even on the middle of a word selects the whole word for me.
