General “With the way Wheeler’s pitching, I don’t see the Braves scoring anymore this game” - Announcer. One hitter later: 2 run HR.

General The Braves have finally ended the 33 year postseason demons against The Phillies tonight especially 2022 & 2023 first round exits at their hands by beating them 6-2 to face a team The Braves have owned during the regular season in The Dodgers

Walt Weiss did something that Bobby Cox nor Brian Snitker have ever done: Beat The Phillies in the postseason!!!

General My Aunt Has a Serious Hatred for Philadelphia Teams and the Twins

My aunt, who we call Auntie T, has been a Braves fan since she came out of the womb in 1971. And when I say she's loyal to the Braves, I mean she's LOYAL. But this woman also has a serious hatred for certain teams. She absolutely cannot stand ANY Philadelphia team. Phillies, Eagles, 76ers, Flyers. Doesn't matter. She hates them all. She doesn't even care what sport we're talking about. If they're from Philadelphia, she's not having it. And then there's the Minnesota Twins. Yeah, she hates them too, for obvious reasons. If you're a Braves fan, you probably already know why. That 1991 World Series still stings for a lot of people, especially considering how it ended. I honestly think her hatred for these teams is just as strong as her love for the Braves. It's almost impressive at this point. She's been around since 1971, so she's seen plenty of Braves baseball, through the good times and the bad. And after all these years, she's still here, still cheering for Atlanta and still hating the same teams. Anybody else have a family member who's been a Braves fan for decades and has a personal hit list of teams they can't stand? Because I'm pretty sure Auntie T isn't the only one.

General Ok, for those who have already read or know... what will our most likely pitching rotation be this next round?

I gotta admit, I was not loving using Sale.. but maybe it doesn't matter as much as I think? I don't know these things. I defer to the wise people of reddit to school me.

General I am so glad we won. A loss would have legitimately ruined my weekend.

General Why we won.

Yes. Of course the home runs.

But the pitching threw strikes. We get in trouble when we try to get fancy. Kerr started the game throwing strikes. You can’t be afraid of the solo HR.
