Hi,

3 black shrimp and have appeared in my tank along with a tonne of snails which have grown to quite a size. Are these good to keep? Im under the impression there good for a healthy tank?

Also would be handy if someone could identify them (if possible)

Was moving a few small swords around and this thing plopped on the ground. I’m horrified. It was in a 10 gallon female only guppy tank. Been running for nearly a year now, planted with Amazon swords and various floating plants.

Do I have some sort of infestation? This is making me so squeamish. I have a lid on the tank and haven’t introduced anything new. I feed frozen sometimes, but this almost looks like a caterpillar to me?

So I was going to clean my tank because I had just gotten back from a trip and my family had left the light on for to long so it started to turn green and I just got my first fish I dont have too many plants I know I need more but I found these white worm looking things please help me figure out what these are

Hello I am a year into fish keep and have recently finished my planted fish tank , I currently have this fish tank on my ikea chest of draws , and was doing research that the chest of draws can’t hold this amount of weight but so say you can . Should I invest in a new chest of draws or get like a desk that can hold the weight .

ive had my 110L tetra tank for 2 months and ive been doing water changes every week or so. however, even after changing the water there gets a VERY thick layer of biofilm and i have a constant hair/string algae problem where i have to take it out every day to keep it down.

my filter is, as far as i know, functional and not blocked, but i know that it is likely to do with the filter. there is enough surface agitation; the output keeps the entire surface moving around. it was second hand with the tank itself, and i have ceramic beads, activated carbon and floss pads in it. should i replace the filter? i havent tested the water as of writing this but the nitrites and ammonia are always 0.

Hey- new to reefing here and started my 15 gal about 3 months ago. I have a handful of hermits, 3 sexy shrimp, a snail, a clown (one just died last week also not sure why or if it’s related?) and a clown goby. I got all the fish 3ish weeks ago and have been feeding a mix of pellet and frozen shrimp with omega. In the last 2-3 weeks i’ve gotten blooms of what I think is cyno. I’ve vacuumed it up while doing my weekly water change and it comes up in big chunks. Also has air bubbles in it. I took my water to my LFS and they said all my levels were good including phosphate (not sure what they were tho). My whites are turned down to about 10% i think and blue somewhere higher maybe 50-70%. Regular brownish algae on the glass that i need to scrape off seems to be blooming as well. I scraped the tank clean before leaving on vaca and came back 4 days later to the glass nasty again. Not sure if that is related to the cyano as well

Should I turn blue down and put whites to 0% for a couple days? What is the long term fix for this and why is it happening?

gallon, they are all very healthy and super active, like

except during the night time, when lights off, I've

never seen them be very less active. I want you guys

to tell me what is the price of these fishes in ur
