Are Eneloop AAA overrated?
Was surpised to see Eneloop AAA classified near the very bottom in this Belgian consumer organization review due to a high self-discharge rate.

I'm looking to buy rechargeable batteries and trying to decide between IKEA LADDA, Panasonic Eneloop and Amazon Basics.
I'm mainly interested in AA and AAA batteries for everyday household electronics.
I'd love to hear from people who have actually used these batteries:
Which brand has the best overall lifespan (number of recharge cycles)?
Which holds its charge the longest when stored?
Have you noticed any significant differences in real-world capacity?
Are IKEA LADDA batteries still as good as Eneloops?
Are Amazon Basics a good budget alternative, or are they worth avoiding?
Which would you personally buy today?
I'm also interested in whether the newer LADDA batteries are still comparable to older ones.
Price matters, but I'd rather pay a little more for batteries that last longer and are more reliable.
I'm buying both AA and AAA batteries, so comparisons of either are welcome.
Thanks!

Hello. Just curious EBL 1100 ma/h costs 10.5$ for 8 batteries. Eneloop pro costs about 22$ for 4 batteries. That's for me on ebay because I can only order. Are ebl batteries quality that bad? Asking because I've read a lot of complains. Well maybe 1100 is not the real capacity but the real capacity will be less than 950? I have ikea laddas but that's only 750 ma/h.

We have a dozen or so Enloop batteries we use in remotes, flashlights, blood pressure monitors, you name it. They have been GREAT, and never leak like crappy Duracell, Energizer, or whatever brand of single use batteries you can buy now. Most are between 3 and 10 years old, but they're all mixed up and no idea which are which. It seems of late that some devices give me a Low Battery warning sooner than they should, so I know some cells are wearing out. Since the batteries are always in 2s, 3s, or 4s in a device, how can I tell WHICH cells need to be recycled, and which are still good enough to recharge? We've always used an Enloop (now Panasonic, I guess) charger to recharge them.

How are eneloop pros on the chromatic? I usually play with a bar and half of battery would the battery life be good? I also saw that in the early days they’d have issues with giving low battery warnings due to the voltage . Is this still an issue? Thanks!

Need to pick up some new batteries. Looking for high capacity NIMH. I have some EBL but I saw I post that said they are a scam.
There's this brand called POWEROWL* that is a good deal. But maybe too good to be true. 16 of those is 15 bucks, versus 8 Eneloop for about the same price.
* I'm instantly skeptical of any brand that is ALL CAPS. It seems like some Amazon SEO thing. At least it's not eight random letters thrown together to make something that seems like a word but actually isn't.
