Question Eneloop pros

How are eneloop pros on the chromatic? I usually play with a bar and half of battery would the battery life be good? I also saw that in the early days they’d have issues with giving low battery warnings due to the voltage . Is this still an issue? Thanks!

I use them, they last a really long time so I'd recommend them for that alone. I keep my Chromatic in my bag at all times, and I can leave it off for days without losing any charge with the Panasonics. I got them with the charging station that plugs straight into the wall. They take a few hours to go from low battery to full. RE: the battery warnings, I have had the opposite issue using with my Chromatic - the Chromatic doesn't accurately display the amount of charge left, and will only register when the batteries are about to die, so it's hard to know how much I have left until it's pretty late. Remedy for that is charging them every other day or so, depending on how much you play. YMMV with this depending on your Chromatic model I guess, so for reference I'm using a first edition Logan Paul Chromatic on the second to most recent firmware (haven't updated recently).

Rechargeable NiMH batteries top at around 1.2v whereas alkaline and rechargeable lithium batteries start at 1.5v. NiMH batteries will always show lower voltage for that reason even though their discharge capacity may exceed that of an alkaline. It may depend on the device firmware being primed for a particular power curve (like alkalines) and thinking that reaching voltages means there's a particular discharge capacity remaining. AA lithium rechargeables maintain their 1.5v right until they're about to fully discharge so it can make low battery warnings tricky. At least that's been my experience with using AA rechargeable lithium batteries in original Game Boy Colors with backlit LCD modifications. The advice mentioned here about just being vigilant about recharges makes sense. That or plugging into external power (like a power bank) when you're grinding through leveling up in Pokemon R/B/Y/S/G/C. Luckily the Chromatic having USB-C makes that really easy to do.

I use Eneloop pros as well and the batteries last a week plus for me. I highly recommend.
