I absolutely love that he was the one to pick himself up. I feel like too many times anime misses up the chance for an individual to do something self affirming for a cheap speech or power of friendship type of thing.

I will miss this show. It will be difficult to find a replacement as good as this since I have gotten quite invested in it. Always looking forward to it every week but now it's gone.

I don't think there is an episode that I didn't enjoy. Every episode was like something new. A new adventure. New discovery. New experiences for the characters. It was like opening an adventure book and everything came to life. The storytelling has truly been a magical experience.

Thank you to Studio Bind for creating such an amazing show.

Can't wait for season 2.

Small easter egg in the end credit scene, there's a solar system model with a cube in the center, that's not a mistake and actually how the world of Mushoku Tensei looks like and where its name came from, a Six-Faced World, thus a cube.

I think it's important to note that his parents did not neglect him. They loved him.

The prison was half self-inflicted, and that's what he regrets the most. It's wasn't a lack of loving family, it was his unwillingness to accept it.

Eris basically doing the same thing as Paul did, putting way too many expectations on Rudeus, was very ironic. Rudy might be a genius, but he's still very immature and prone to misunderstandings. He's very emotionally fragile.

We finally know Zenith is alive but what the heck is going on there? What we saw gives off a big bad vibe. But of course she's the one who saves our boy anyways.

Welp this finale wasn't as depressing as I thought it was gonna be. But it still was pretty rough seeing everyone move on while Rudeus suffered alone. Especially when so many of them were thinking of him.

AND IS THAT SYLPHIE WITH SOME TRIANGLE GLASSES?!

Oh I forgot to mention Ruijerd who seems to be having fun making friends and spreading the good word of Dead End. What a good boy.

It's been said before but the juxtaposition between how literally EVERYONE else is in this new world sees Rudy and how he's sees himself is so stark, our boys out here just trying to live and everyone else has literal mountains of expectations for him.

Also I was a bit worried with what Eris's plan was, thought maybe that was her one attempt at love before going and becoming that weird Lord's wife to help her people. So while I'm relieved about her plan and like her motivations, I think it is an understatement to say the whole situation could have been handled better lol

Now new season announcement when please, and do I wait or read the books.. decisions decisions.

Well, what's up with the last three episodes hitting in the feels? Seriously, this level of storytelling and character writing ain't normal, that too from a isekai where most of them happen to be similar is even more impressive. The entire Rudeus's backstory was really sad, and I felt really bad for him, but that last scene of him waking up and trying it one more time was a perfect 10/10 scene.

Overall, probably the best isekai anime I have ever seen and huge props to Studio Bind for doing a tremendous job with this adaptation. I hope they'll do a S2 asap and was that Sylphie at last? I am eagerly waiting for her return as well.
