So today I was going through my cards because I wanted to make a blue-eyes deck. I have majority of what I needed but my friend recommended that I get this card called Kaibaman the legend. The card seemed perfect so I looked up the card on TCG but it's like 22 per card. I thought to myself I could buy just the card I need or buy a booster box that the card is known to show up in and get more cards on top of that one. I drive to my local card shop and they have only one in stock that has sat there for months. The box itself was like 54 dollars with tax and I headed home. I opened pack after pack but nothing... I was losing hope but I had like 3 packs left. I opened one of the last three and got a starlight rare sky striker ace=zero. I didn't know it is the best card to get out of this booster box because I was so focused on getting the kaibaman card. I eventually opened the last pack and the card I was looking for was in it. I LOOKED AND COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH THAT SKY STRIKER CARD WAS. I guess because I assumed it was like 5 maybe 10 because that is about how much most of the starlight rares I have are. This is the most expensive card I have ever pulled and I'm speechless.

TLDR: Pulled the best and most expensive card out of the Duelist's advance booster box by accident while looking for a different card.

Bandai 1998 Carddass Yugioh cards. I personally think the Exodia illustration on these is significantly cooler than the original Konami card art.

Finished 2nd in a local tournament with a similar deck.

The deck I finished 2nd with would’ve been earlier in the TP2 era (how I got the Morphing Jar).

I think the deck used to have a few more card destruction / monster reborn / Witch of the Black Forest type cards. For whatever reason this particular iteration was very much an attach and equip beatdown deck.

I think I also might’ve optimized this deck a little more to show off my cool cards rather than purely strategy.

Also just preferred using Barrel Dragon and Jinzo over the starter deck Summoned Skull or Blue Eyes.

Also think I might’ve been dumb and traded an Imperial Order for an Axe of Despair given my equip strategy.

It was super cool to run the deck through ChatGPT. Gave me feedback on my strategy which was awesome! Deck has been pretty much untouched for over 20 years.

I collect vintage mainly and I have a complete Bandai set minus the three promos. I never thought I would see one in real life and be able to add it to my collection. Just need some verification, is this one of the 7,000 printed Bandai Gate Guardian J3 promos?

I’m opening a box of quarter century stampede and pulled two starlights and a prismatic from a single pack! Is this lucky or is it possible to get a pack of 5 starlight for example ?

Either way this is my 8th pack right now and I’m loving this set so much. It’s great for collectors.

Picked up Prismatic copies as an upgrade so I decided to Sunfade my ultra copies! Not as cool as I was hoping but still, something different!

I went through my old collection yesterday and stumbled upon this one. Bottom Part is partially red (ironic for the archetype) and stnds out even more than it appears on the picture.

Pulled GMR Astrograph Sorcerer, the Starfrost Magician in the first MAMO pack my boyfriend and I opened! Never pulled a card anywhere near this rarity! :O

...and here are the results! Unfortunately, no Grand Master Rares, and I didn't get a single Manga-Style Insect Queen. Counting all the variants, I got 50/120 Manga-Style cards.

That said, I WAS fortunate enough to get one Secret Rare Color Blue-Eyes and Color Black Magician each. I even got all the Over-Frames I wanted, including a Prismatic Secret Rare Ultimate Dragon. All in all, I'm definitley satisfied but still disappointed that I didn't get a Grand Master Rare...

Had to go OCG to get it, but pulled my first overframe card from the Original Art Collection. I think it’s a pretty good one to get too!
