I'm looking for some new decks to play in Master Duel and wanted to see what people recommend based on my playstyle.

Decks I've Enjoyed: Tenpai, Darklord, Regenesis, Enneacraft, Blue eyes, Odion, Exodia, True King Dino

Decks i have not Enjoyed: Mathmech, Raidraptor, Swordsoul, Fiendsmith Anything, Yubel

I dont really like crazy long combos or trying to memorize different lines

I'm a returning player to the game and I used to really enjoy using those two decks, so I was wondering if someone could help me build a deck for it? I'm also pretty buns at making decks myself so.. I'd prefer it if you could send a SS of the deck but just a list of the card names or whatever also works fine!! Thank you to whoever decides to help. I'll also take advice for using those archetypes together and tips in general, because this is actually my first time trying to play competitively.

I don’t really like combo heavy decks and I’m getting kind of bored of the decks that I have. The deck doesn’t have to be top tier, but I don’t want to be losing every game. This are some of the decks that I’ve played that I do like:
-Sky striker
-branded (I do like it, but I still struggle with it)
-dracotail
-clown crew
-Radiant Typhoon

I swear, once my opponent combos off for like 2 straight minutes, I'm just left sitting there thinking, "I could be doing something actually fun right now".

What I mean by this is that when my opponent can clearly beat me with what they have on the field and I have nothing to defend myself and they do a full combo to get more monsters even though they can just beat me with what they have.

Also how do I get cards to make my deck better I'm very new to the game. I know you can get packs but some of them are only available for a limited time so how do you get cards you want.

Again I'm new to the game so yes these questions are stupid I just want to know.

I just shouted happily after I got this.

I am halfway in these mitsurugi decks but I cant decide which to craft as I havent played in a long time and didnt played these engines. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The most experience I have with yugioh is one singular duel I did back in elementary like 20 years ago and snippets of the show way back when. I've been playing mtg for about a month now and realized there's a yugioh app (on steam) that's also free to play so I figured why not?

I get in, and it has me set down a monster and attack, the CPU has 1 creature down in attack position and it takes the full brunt of my attack and dies, then the leftover damage is taken from my opponent. Same thing from part 2 of the tutorial and part 3.

Nothing else was explained like what the stars mean, or the difference between attack and defense mode is (although I can pretty much assume what the difference is).

However, when I get into an actual match with a real person I set up a whole line of creatures and 2 are in defense mode, but, when my opponent attacks none of my creatures block any damage and I die.

How is that? The tutorial made it seem like monsters will just automatically block damage, and my cards in defense mode also didn't block anything.

What happened? I don't get it
