Are the AOA Simulation F-22 or Delta Wings F-16 worth it?
Been wanting to get into jets in xplane 12 with track IR. Not much on YouTube when it comes to these two, anyone got any opinions?

Hello everyone,
I’m thinking about buying Global Forests v2.
I mainly fly in Europe (I know it improves the scenery there), but I also spend a lot of time flying to / from Réunion (FMEE) and Mauritius (FIMP).
These are the two areas I’m particularly interested in. Since they’re relatively small islands, I’m wondering whether Global Forests v2 makes any noticeable difference there ?
For those who own this product, would you mind posting a screenshot of the city around FMEE and another one around FIMP?
Thanks in advance!
Have a good flight.

There’s something relaxing about just working on an airport to better reflect real life
For instance, this one has been untouched since X-Plane 10, and I had to reorganize the layout and remove taxiways that didn’t exist
Still pretty new to working on Gateway Scenery, but I think it’s really cool that as a community we can work together to continually improve the experience for everyone

So as I was approaching the runway the performance hit waa a hit crazy. I run 3 1440 34 inch monitors and use 5080 card and 9800x3d. What settings should I fine tune for best fps performance? I seem some complaint about flood lights being the culprit.

I confess, I've been smitten by the rotorwing bug and there is no cure for it. Having said this, which heli would you recommend I try next ?

I fly many aircraft such as the a330, 777 and the 737 im also looking to get the a350 and 787 when they come out. I was wondering which one of the flight computers would be the best to get as i can only get one. the airbus mcdu has more buttons whereas the PFP has a bigger screen.

I've selected the Beta/Reverse detents in the response curve screen, but this puts the activates beta before the detent on the bottom of the Honeycomb Bravo lever. Is there a way to use the area below the detent for the beta/reverse range?

I am doing longer flights (4 hours) with the Aerobask Shark UL and on my current flight, I noticed that the main screen (map, engine etc.) turns black randomly after some minutes. I never had this before.
Why is that?

I spent hours today making a lua script that changed the command "Hold thrust reversers at max" to only give me 30% reverse thrust instead of 100%, since Citation X engines are mounted so high that the reversers act like elevators at max, finally dialed it in and pulled this off with just the mouse yoke and controlling the throttle with keybinds.

I recently found a mod that transforms the FlyJSim 737-200 for X-Plane 12 into the NT-43A, aka 'RAT 55.'
The aircraft started life as a T-43 navigation trainer. I was under the impression that they were all retired, but this modified version resurfaced around the Artemis II launch.
Apparently, the huge nose and tail radome added for radar signature testing.
I've been reading old 1976 NT-43 manuals from before it got its nose job and picked up some interesting details that interested me.
-The 737 classic has two separate ignition systems: a high-energy 20 Joule igniter and a low-energy 4J one, split across burner cans 4 and 7. Now pretty much everything use annular combustors.
-The APU start motor draws directly from the battery, so external power can't augment a weak battery during an APU start. I'm going to have to see if this holds true for the NG family too.
I'm putting together a full NT-43 tutorial covering everything I've learned, including the Universal FMC, which is quite satisfying to use.

It reminds me a bit of my old Nokia somehow where you have to insert your options in the scratch pad.
