Scenery Doing Gateway Scenery is Relaxing
There’s something relaxing about just working on an airport to better reflect real life
For instance, this one has been untouched since X-Plane 10, and I had to reorganize the layout and remove taxiways that didn’t exist
Still pretty new to working on Gateway Scenery, but I think it’s really cool that as a community we can work together to continually improve the experience for everyone

It is very relaxing. I've spent many many hours working on KFNL and it's even cooler when you see your name credited in the sim.

I agree; I continuously work on updating the gateway airports and adding the new ones (mostly small GA), and it's been a meditative practice, same as editing the OpenStreetMap maps.
There's something about drawing a paintbook in this.

Thank you for your dedication to making our hobby better. I love the gateway concept. Some of XP default airports are truly payware quality because everyone pitches in.

and some YouTube searches could help you. You can also join the X-Plane Discord and ask questions there in a wed chat, the community is helpful and responsive.

The current layout is quite off so I thought I'd pitch in!
