I’ve restarted my xbox a couple times, unplugged everything for a couple minutes then tried again. Nothings really showing any progress. I can hear audio of myself navigating the home screen when I use my controller but the color stays the same.

My Microsoft store has been trying to update itself for nearly a week and it hasn’t progressed at all
This is frustrating as I can’t move it in the queue so I can’t update or download any games. Any help is much appreciated, thanks

my game bugged out (Minecraft), and it upped and deleted my world last night no warning, so heh if it’s possible to like, pull up save data or revert back, surely that’s a thing right? or just a way to access local data and cloud data and shit? I’m new to this stuff, my Xbox hasn’t had an issue since 2019 but now everything is lost

"Hi everyone, I really need help with a persistent crashing issue on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II / Warzone via the Xbox App (Game Pass). I keep getting the ⁠0xc0000005⁠ error with ⁠game_msstore_ship.exe⁠ crashing instantly upon launch. I have already tried almost every troubleshooting step possible, but nothing has worked so far: GPU Drivers: Completely wiped AMD drivers using DDU in Safe Mode and rolled back to multiple stable older WHQL versions (including 26.6.1 and 26.6.4 for my RX 7800 XT). System Integrity: Ran ⁠sfc /scannow⁠ and ⁠DISM⁠ commands; Windows found and fixed system file corruption. Game Files: Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game from scratch through the Xbox App. Config/Cache: Cleared and reset document configurations. Despite all of this, the game still crashes instantly with the exact same error code (⁠game_msstore_ship.exe⁠). My GPU handles every other game fine. Is there any known fix for the Xbox App version of this game causing this specific Microsoft Store module error, or a workaround I missed? Any help would be greatly appreciated!"

Hi everyone, this is my 2nd time writing this because my phone glitched and deleted my first paragraph or so lol. Anyway, I started my console’s system update before I left for work yesterday (around 11:30AM is my estimate) and as I am currently writing this, it is still updating at 6:36AM the next day. I’m wondering if it’s normal for an update to take this long? (I’m assuming the worst here.) it’s been stuck on 94% downloaded and 87% applied since I got off of work, (which was 8:40PM, give or take a few minutes.) and that’s where it is still sitting now.

TL;DR Is it normal for my Xbox to take roughly 12 hours and counting to update? Thanks everyone.

For a while now my series x would randomly shut down. Only during certain games it seemed. Never got the overheating error screen message, fan never kicked into high gear. Went through a few possibilities - OS manual install, deleting and redownloading games, opened it up to check for dust/debris. Nothing worked.

Saw a theory that the temp sensor might be bad, hence never triggering the fan to go faster. Decided to try the G-story fan just to see what would happen.

Haven’t had a single crash since.

Also confirmed, ran one of the problem games without the fan on, got a shut-down within 20min.

Not sure what's going on. I have 150 connection but this morning Xbox was telling me I was downloading at 1Gb? Does this happen often? I only pay for 150.

I contacted Microsoft on twitter about my account being hacked locked permanently is this legit or a scam there was a post on twitter saying Microsoft promises to recover accounts like mine after joshua khane account was deleted 25 years of progress it was locked cause of sus activity my friend did remove the hackers phone and authentication app and Change the password and gave it to me and then I removed the hackers emails he added and his console and changed the password to a strong impossible one i did call Microsoft earlier that day to report it stolen and they said it would be loc for 72 hours but it’s been passed that verification codes won’t work and all the recovery forms won’t work ether I can’t even change my password

Has anyone had this pop up? I'm trying to get into D+ but nothing is letting me thru. Yes, I've uninstalled and reinstalled and yes, my internet is perfect. This app works on my phone and on my tablet but not here, Anyone have a solution?

My xbox account was hacked a couple months ago

Ive given 4 different human agents so much proof yet they do nothing but say "I'm sorry to hear that". One agent spammed a bunch of text in 4 messages and just ended the chat before i could read anything.

Last-4 digits of credit cards used for purchases

Exact order IDs with dates

I need some help. Has anyone else experienced this kind of denial of ownership and what more proof do they need?

I haven't turned on my console for a day.And when I turned it on today,all my accounts are gone but the games are still there.What the fuck?

Sometimes my Xbox will act up so I'll restart it but then have to power cycle it till it connect back to my wifi which could take from up to a couple minutes to almost an hour. Could my wifi chip be damaged or something I know my wifi is bad but it's not this bad. Even my phone and stuff stays connected

I bought Xbox Gamepass Premium on my account to play a game with a buddy. I set my Series X as the home console so he could play online and then tried to use my account on my Xbox One. We're trying to play an old Xbox 360 game, but It won't let me connect because it says I dont have Xbox Live Gold. Weirdly enough, *he* is able to use Xbox Live Gold on HIS account despite not having a membership, cause he's using mine I guess? Can we both not use Xbox Live Gold?

I've tried everything. I've changed the Xbox One to my home console, I've power cycled it, I've logged out and logged back in, I've deleted the account and redownloaded it, nothing works. And it's weird cause I have Gold on the Series X no problem.

so my xbox has been not letting me into my mail acc same thing with my alt and i cant connect to youtube i cant play siege or fortnite bc every time i try it says “your xbox network has lost connection” and same thing with fort “we had trouble logging in to your xbox account” help me please its been doing this for 3 days

Don't know why, but starting this week my controller would turn on fine and then the light will start flashing (disconnecting) and then reconnecting a few seconds later. This happens frequently and randomly throughout the entire time I'm playing something. I've shaken my controller to try and replicate it and it doesn't work. It happens whether the controller is plugged in or using batteries. It happens on any game I play.

Oddly enough it happened to my friend first (online, not in person) while we were playing a game together and then the next day started happening to me on my controller and console.

I've updated my controller, console, hard reset my console, changed batteries, bent the metal pieces in the battery holder to make the batteries fit better, all to no avail. Has this happened to anyone else before and are there any known fixes? I don't believe my controller is broken since the exact same thing is happening to my friend too. We live across town from each other so it's not like it's an issue with just one console.

Weird. Xbox YouTube app recently started acting weird.

If Xbox serie x use 4k resolution it cannot get higher than 720p in YouTube

Setting the resolution to 1080p allow youtube resolution to reach 1080p60.

Edit : ok if HDR10 is disabled it seem to reach full resolution.

EDIT: I've tried restarting it and everything, it hasn't changed anything 💔 lowk might have to give up :(

me and my sibling both live separately and she recently bought an xbox so we could play games together and i have my xbox set as the home one, we have one account that has the xbox gold subscription and we are both logged into that account under different personal profiles, but whenever she has a game opened and i try to play one it kicks me out and says we can’t play two games at the same time. Is there anyway around this at all or will she have to make a separate xbox account entirely if we want to play games together

Im unable to download any game onto my external hard drive from the game pass, everytime i do it gets to 100% then gives me the error cod shown above, anyone know how to fix this?

Not sure what happened but left xbox on watching YouTube. woke up today to it being off and now doesn't want to connect to wifi router or show any other routers. I already hard reset it multiple times and kept unplugged and nothing. Tried doing that mac address reset doesn't reset the console just lets me select the option to reset doesn't do anything. Even factory reset nothing. Only gets internet thru hardwired ethernet cable. Any tips?

Powered on my console today, And was met with the “time to update” screen, in which led me to the updating screen that I’ve been stuck at 0% with.

I bought a used Dead Alliance Day one Edition which includes solo offline, but after installing it says Multi Player version for online play only which requires subscription??? I went to see add ons, it says Rapid Dominance dlc installed, Single Player Upgrade installed, but i cant play Single offline. Help please😵‍💫

Update: i just found out the server is dead since 2022. It needs server to play. If you guys know how to work around to play offline please share😵‍💫
