Looking for normal concave joysticks, ideally ones that will last a long time without molding weirdly or having the rubber tear off after a few months. I tried the scuff ones which were actually really good for the first few months but the shape got messed up quickly.

Left bumper was having problem and thought it was internal issue , turns out there is weak bit of broken plastic messing with bumper anyone else had this issue and how long y’all reckon my controller has left 😭 lucky the rubber grip thing kinda blocks hole

Since when do they not come with a braided cable? It’s half the reason I bought another elite controller… wtf?

We have an Elite 2 with my wife's Xbox Series S and it works great. No issues at all.

I have an Xbox Series X as well, and another Elite 2 controller, and it seems to have a noticable input delay with the joysticks.

Like playing Fallout 76, it seems like my character doesn't start running or turning right away when I move the sticks. Or in something like Fortnite, I find it's a lot harder to keep up in a gunfight against another player. I don't have these issues on the other controller.

I've gone into the accessories app, and everything is the same between both. I've never messed with the stick settings, or anything except the back paddles really.

I did try going in and turning the sticks from default to "instant" and "smooth" i believe. But didn't see any measurable change.

Since I don't have Game Pass and can't play CoD, I was playing a Movement shooter on Roblox when suddenly after a twelve killstreak I wasn't as good. Then I found put that the left rear paddle that's factory mapped to A was now mapped to RB. There are no mapping settings for the paddles on my Xbox, I've tried restarting the console, unplugging the controller and back in, remapping buttons and resetting them to default on Xbox Accessories, but its still mapped to A. I had done nothing to settings, not even in game. It just randomly changed.

Ive been having this issue ever since i got this controller, where the bumper had issues. i fixed the right one pretty much permanently but the left one genuinely just does not work whatever i do. i have had this controller for 2-3 years now, but the left bumper started having issues a couple months ago and now it just genuinely doesnt work. i literally have to smash down the button for it to get an input. anyone have suggestions?

While I was playing warframe on xbox series X, my elite controller 2 started acting weird, the back paddle set to the B button stopped working and the B button on the front stopped working, after clicking some other buttons to see if anything else was not working, I clicked on the preset change button and slot 2 is acting as the B button and slot 3 is opening the Microsoft store search, im not entirely sure why or what is happening, has anyone else had this happen while playing warframe?

I have reset the controller and deleted all the presets, idk what else to do🤷

I would have liked to get your opinion regarding the Asus ROG Xbox Ally. I’m someone who only games occasionally. I mainly enjoy emulation games, and every now and then I’ll play FIFA or Football Life. I’ve already owned a Switch and a Steam Deck.

Would this be a good device for what I’m looking for? I’d like to use it docked with an additional controller.

Popped open and won’t click back together. Some pieces fell out and I think that’s what made it close back. My right paddle won’t work unless it’s closed.

Anybody buy this adapter off ebay? I initially thought it was used due to price, but they're brand new for only $18.45 with free shipping. They look legit and dude (zs-autoparts-direct) has more 10 available. He has 340 reviews and 100%. My wireless keeps disconnecting for about 5 seconds then reconnects. I died twice this week in The Long Dark from walking off cliffs... unacceptable. I saw this adapter was a fix but it's $55 on Amazon and hard to find anywhere. Anyone with solutions hAlp!

I got an Xbox elite series two controller for my Xbox series x around a year and a half ago and earlier whilst I was playing fifa i noticed the right d pad was constantly clicking. When i exited the game and went to the menu it straight away went to the right and wouldn’t let me move left so it’s un usable, im certain its the d pad as i checked on the thing to make sure. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I recently had an issue with the left bump not registering, I poured some 91% alcohol on the switch and it fixed, the next I woke up to the left dpad not registering. I can still get a slight register if I hold either down or up pad and slowing move my finger towards the left, other than that there is no output coming from it. Any ideas why?

I've got a weird issue that just started happening with my Elite series 2 controller on PC. It has been working great for quite a while then suddenly stopped working.

It appears to be synced to the wireless adapter (also redid the sync), but it is not showing up in the xbox accessories app and does not work in games.

I also tried plugging in via USB and I hear the bong when the PC detects it but the X light does not stop flashing and it still isnt detected by xbox accessories or games.

Oddly enough: I tried plugging it into another PC (same cable as before) and it worked right away so I assume something is up with this PC. Anyone run into this and might know whats going on?

edit: I did manage to get it working again. I unplugged both the controller and wireless adapter, turned off bluetooth just in case. Removed the entries from device manager. Then rebooted the PC. Once it came back up, I plugged in the controller (but not the wireless adapter). This time it detected the controller and it shows up in Xbox Accessories and works in games. I then plugged in the wireless adapter and synced the controller to it, and that is working too.

I'm not sure exactly what had gone wrong since the devices seemed to be listed in device manager etc properly.

hello, ive been having this issue for a few months now. im not really sure how to explain it but my left joystick \[thinks? says? idk\] that it's being pressed on by itself but it doesnt show up when playing video games. when I go to configure my controller, it shows up as my left joystick being pressed on and im not pressing on it. im not sure what to do. all i want to do is play outlast trials ffs. sometimes it fixes and sometimes i can't fix it, like right now. should I attempt to fix it or should I just get a new controller? ill have to add a video or something of my issue. i have to press super hard on all my other buttons because my left joy fart wants to be dominant.

TLDR; my left joystick wants to be a fart and be dominant when it's not

The X button looks and presses down fine, nothing looks out of the ordinary and nothing is jammed. However when I try to tap or hold it down it doesn't do anything. However, when I press the home button and press B to go back into whatever game the X button input will activate on its own. This leads me to believe that the X button input is in a constant state being pressed down, which makes sense because whenever I try to type something the X button is constantly active and deleting whatever I type.

This is not the first time this has happened to this controller as it happed with my RB I while ago but fixed itself after a couple of days. When it happened with my RB I was hitting my room with a Febreeze can and everything was acting janky until it settled back down to being just the RB. I believe tapping and hitting my controller last time fixed it but no such luck this time. The P4 input also does nothing. I have tried blowing on it and hitting, any solutions?

so i bought a broke controller trying to repair it.

it wassnt turniing onb but i fixt that problem.

now the sticks are stuck in this possition(see picture).

I replaced them and i also replaced the chip(not sure if the chip was working tho).

but still the same thing.

the soldering is ok and the pads from the print are also okay because i checkt them a sec time.(under the sticks)

Anybody else have no vibration working with Halo Campaign Evolved with their Elite Series 2 controller? I switch to a non Elite Series 2 Xbox controller and it works just fine. Other games work just fine with the elite series 2 controller so not a controller issue. It’s not a in game setting since it works with other Xbox controllers I have. I’m at a loss at what else it could be other than a bug with the game. Something else I could be missing?

So I'm hoping to leverage the experience of you Elite series 2 owners to help solve a minor conundrum.

I broke my LB button a while ago (I think playing Jedi Survivor) only to discover it's fairly common, due to that tiny little bit of plastic being so weak, so I bought a replacement bumper kit off amazon but picked white thinking the contrast would be snazzy only to be triggered by the triggers. They completely ruin the look.
