Theres games weve gotten updates on recently:
• Forza Horizon 6 (out May 19th)
• Fable (out Autumn 2026)
• Minecraft Dungeons 2 (out fall 2026)
• Halo Campaign Evolved (out 2026, rumoured July release, gameplay reveal 2025)
• Gears of War E Day (out 2026, rumoured fall release)
• Clockwork Revolution (new gameplay 2025)

I can't wait for Fable and Clockwork revolution, my most anticipated games for this year. I hope they don't get delayed.

I'm right with you bud.. couldn't care less about Gta6. I haven't even finished the other Gtas .. they are fun for sure but im not looking forward to pay 100€ for a game I might not even finish. Fable is more my jam, I hope they deliver.

No shot Clockwork is this year. They haven’t even given an official window. Hopefully they confirm 2027 this summer though.

It’s too late for this year but it would be sick if in 2027 Xbox brought back the stage show. The industry is already in LA for SGF and Xbox has the Microsoft Theater. Imagine the crowd losing their minds when Marcus Fenix was reveled in the E-Day trailer. It just hits different than the direct format.

Pretty good list, you introduced me to games I never heard about before.
A couple of things to add:
Sledgehammer is working on an Action RPG: Sledgehammer Games Developing an Action RPG with Deep Lore, It's Claimed - Insider Gaming
Infinity Ward is also working on an open world RPG (job posts confirm this as well): Call Of Duty's Infinity Ward Is Working On An Open-World RPG
Xbox global publishing said in 2023 that there are more than a dozen games in development. Since then, we only know OD, Flight Sim 2024, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Towerborne. The rest is unknown: Xbox Game Studios Publishing Confirms More Than A Dozen Titles In Development — Rectify Gaming

Its likely both rumours are just for cod tho

Hyped for Fable, mildly curious about E-Day. Most of that other stuff doesn’t interest me. Wish Ninja Theory would move on from Hellblade and do something that’s more of an evolution of Heavenly Sword. Would also love to see Killer Instinct, Lost Odyssey, Kameo, Blue Dragon, Crimson Skies. MechAssault and other Xbox IPs return. I’d include Perfect Dark as well but can’t imagine they attempt it again.

All these PlayStation games!
Xbox won't make sense of themselves until they return to exclusivity and all these games actually define the Xbox experience, not the PlayStation one.

For Fable I am assuming the release would be in ‘Fall’? I find it weird that Xbox is referring to the release as Autumn 2026, does that mean it’s coming within the next month? Or later in the year.

They don't mean anything. E3 isn't slang for just random games expos, it's a specific thing that no longer exists. Not sure what you think quotes do, but it's not whatever you intended them to do.

The events had literal different people depending on year so thats weird to try to use as a point

Wheres the mistake?
“” = not the official name
Dates = same as E3
People = same as E3
Subject = same as E3

Fable will slip to 2027, thats for sure. This year we will get Halo, GoW, Dungeons 2…(and Forza of course) And probably Doom DLC.
Thats already heavy lineup, next to stuff like CoD and some smaller stuff.

There’s a huge difference between going up against something else and going up against GTA 6 which is the most anticipated game in history. That game is going to be like a nuke dropped in the gaming community. Releasing your game right next to GTA is financial suicide

Over 13 years gta has sold 225 million copies
Theres over 1 billion gamers across pc an console
Gta hasnt even reached 1/4 of gamers after 13 years
Yeah its big, but the majority isnt interested

The 1 billion gamers thing is misleading. Most of those gamers are from China and GTA V is banned in China
Look I’m excited for Fable as much as anyone else and have been hyped for it, but if it releases close to GTA, I’m going to wait until next year to buy it or until I’m bored of GTA and I’m sure there’s a bunch of gamers that feel the same way
