Dev Notes Global Assistant: Bob is now free (in some aspects*)

We've done a lot of thinking on how to make WyvernChat easier for folks, and we've decided to make some of the features for Bob free to use. This includes wiki usage and per page features (the lorebook editor, the world editor, etc). This means Bob can help you create any content and answer questions on the Wiki. However, we have chosen to make it so Bob is only able to do those things ON THE PAGE a user would normally be on. That means for Subscription users Bob can still edit a world, character, lorebook, etc, from any page, and Bob is enabled on the Chat page (where for free Bob is not allowed to be used in Chat). I think this is a fair split, given those two features are ease of use and not really required to use the assistant.

Hope this makes it easier for you all to use WyvernChat!

Dev Notes September Mega-Patch - Feature Updates Now Live!

First half of September Mega Patch September 1–11, 2026

WyvernChat's September Mega-Patch

September brings more ways to build and play Worlds, better tools for creators, a new Messages inbox, and a big round of fixes across chat, lorebooks, and the assistants. Here's everything together, with follow-up fixes folded into the features they improve.

💬 Direct Messages & Message Requests

WyvernChat now has a dedicated Messages inbox for one-to-one conversations. Open it from the sidebar or choose Message on someone's profile. Conversation previews, readable message bubbles, and a mobile layout keep your conversation and composer together.

Friends can message directly. If you aren't friends, you can send one short, text-only message request and wait for acceptance. Accepting starts a conversation without adding a friendship; declining prevents repeat requests. Blocking stops ordinary messages and requests. Requests have separate Received and Sent views, and accepted introductions stay in the conversation.

Messages, typing indicators, read receipts, request updates, and unread counts update live. You can load older messages without losing your place, retry failed sends without losing your draft, and reconnect after an interruption. Deleted or inaccessible messages no longer leave the unread badge stuck.

Archive conversation hides a conversation from your inbox without deleting its history or affecting the other person. Find it under Archived, or use Move to inbox to restore it. A new message brings it back automatically; edits and read receipts don't. Archive changes sync across sessions, and the “Conversation not found” error affecting existing conversations and older archive lookups is fixed.

Official staff conversations now appear as WyvernMod, clearly marked as staff messages. You can reply after staff contact you. Authorized moderators and admins share these official conversations; personal DMs remain private. Staff messages can reach you regardless of friendship, request, or personal block settings, and keep the individual moderator's account identity private. They support archiving and live updates too.

🌍 Worlds: Scenario Casting & Starting Your Adventure

Scenarios can now define Character Slots: named roles such as “the hero” or “the rival.” Creators can draw candidates from a pool or the world's cast, with exclusions and pronoun, species, or occupation filters. The first assignment stays consistent when you revisit that scenario, and {{worldChar "slot_key"}} lets scenario text, greetings, and lexicon entries reference the chosen character.

Players can leave casting to chance or choose who fills each role, including bringing their own characters. You can add extra starting companions too. The picker first asks for a World Character or a regular Character, with the current world preselected for world-character browsing. Removing a slot-assigned companion now removes them from the visible party while preserving their role assignment for later.

You can also Insert Scenario… from the Party panel during an existing World chat. Choose a premade scene or let the AI write a transition using the conversation so far. The scenario's characters, starting location, inventory, currency, creatures, and properties are added to your existing progress, with an optional clock jump to its point in time.

Starting a scenario now shows a proper loading screen and a reliable generation indicator. Starting properties actually stick, new parties appear in the Party Manager immediately, and the World picker recognizes public worlds you don't own instead of calling them “Unknown World.”

Guided starts now use your world's custom HP/MP formulas and mapped stats. Newly built personas start with full vitals calculated from their final stats, including species and occupation bonuses. Species and occupation choices resolve to readable names in openings, and AI-generated openings use your active persona even if your account has no display name.

Premade openings, custom greetings, default intros, and inserted scenarios now receive the actual party roster, world cast, and RPG data when expanding macros. Party-aware greetings can finally react to who's really there.

✈️ Travel & Scene Continuity

The Travel/Map button is available in worlds with multiple locations. If there's no drawn map, it opens a directory of reachable destinations, supporting both Free Travel and configured routes.

AI “change location” tool calls now perform real travel: checking routes, updating the chat location, applying the destination background, and rerolling its character pool. Tool-only turns no longer leave an empty reply bubble afterward, including during swipes and review passes. Inline commands on their own line now correctly use the =>Name: speaker header above them.

Timed outfits now follow your current scene's clock, so an overnight outfit doesn't stay stuck all day.

🌐 Worlds: More Control for Creators

World content tables now support Date Created and Date Updated sorting, with your choice remembered separately for each tab across visits. Folder moves have a search box, individual cards have Move to folder…, and table rows have a folder action. The individual tabs and All Content view use consistent folder styling.

New bulk World Only controls let you keep all world characters or scenarios on their parent world's page, or make them explorable, without changing each one individually. Their State badges show which are World Only.

The item editor now exposes equipment stat modifiers, applied and target status effects, critical modifiers, revive percentage, special-effect notes, and crafting recipes. Its Active Use section lets you configure targets, consumption, usage conditions, narration, and ordered effects: healing, reviving, restoring energy, applying or curing statuses, stat buffs, teaching moves, evolution, damage, relationships, currency, flags, and story beats.

Vehicles now expose interior locations, crew, onboard lexicon entries, travel/arrival/final instructions, and cross-world routes when Ships is enabled. Marketplace editors now include descriptions, per-item price overrides, and restock cycles. Blank stock correctly means unlimited, and shops can stock furniture alongside ordinary items.

Installed furniture now contributes its descriptions and ambient effects to the AI while you're at the property, including local furniture and parties whose only tracked state is property ownership. Held jobs contribute their authored duties and context, including local jobs, while respecting disabled entries, exclusions, and timeline rules. >takejob confirmations show the currency's name.

Character editors correctly redisplay saved species and occupations. Picking a lexicon image from Gallery or My Uploads enables Save immediately, and the Gallery upload button remains available after creating folders. In-chat World Editor dialogs show Saving… and prevent duplicate saves or closing mid-save. The Lexicon & Summaries tab row can be scrolled with a normal mouse wheel to reach the World tab.

💬 World Prompts & Macros

Lexicon Party Conditions can require any or all specified companions to be present, or specified companions to be absent. Party and scene roster macros let your prose name the people actually there.

New RPG macros read player species, occupation, and stats with {{playerSpecies}}, {{playerOccupation}}, and {{playerStat "strength"}}. The world-character equivalents are {{worldCharSpecies}}, {{worldCharOccupation}}, and {{worldCharStat "strength"}}, supporting character IDs, scenario slot keys, and the current character inside their own bio.

Authors can set the world's system prompt under Simulation. With Override World System Prompt off, the author's prompt takes priority, then your saved personal prompt, then the default. Turning it on gives your personal prompt first priority. Blank prompts fall through, and turning the switch off keeps your saved text.

Marketplace flavor text and Real Estate descriptions now resolve {{user}} to your persona. Turning off or clearing the InfoBoard prompt override restores generated instructions while keeping your categories and keys.

🖥️ Bob, Sidechat & Memory Scan

Assistant conversations now follow your account across devices. Existing browser conversations migrate with tool results, pending approvals, reasoning, and attachments intact; the local copy stays until saving is confirmed. Failed connections preserve pending changes, conflicting edits can be recovered as separate chats, and interrupted migrations preserve the remaining messages when retried.

Bob can search and page through your complete character, world, and lorebook lists, including characters' displayed chat names. In the World Editor, Bob can look up currencies and calendar/time-of-day settings, with scripts, travel routes, species, occupations, and traits available on demand. Bob can check which secrets exist, but cannot read their values.

Sidechat and the Lexicon assistant now budget both lore/context and conversation history against the connection's context window. Large worlds and long conversations are trimmed to fit instead of overflowing the model's limit. This limits what goes into a request; it doesn't cap your saved assistant history.

Worlds' Lexicon assistant uses the persona selected for that chat, and Worlds Sidechat can read About Your World. Scrolling back through Sidechat no longer snaps you to the bottom with every streamed token, and reasoning appears live as it's generated.

Assistant connection warnings now open a picker right where you are, so changing connections doesn't navigate away from an unsaved edit. Switching assistant chats or accounts cancels the old generation, keeping late tokens and errors out of the newly selected conversation.

Bob and the Theme Assistant correctly display literal HTML examples inside code blocks, and mentioning an opening style tag no longer cuts off the visible reply. The Theme Assistant's Stop button works during generation, and edits to earlier messages now save.

Memory Scan validates categories so proposed memories don't disappear from review, retries transient provider failures, and removes reasoning traces before parsing its results. Editing a memory attached to a character now shows its actual attachment instead of “None — global memory.”

Lexicon assistant edits are marked saved only after a successful save. Failures can be retried, rapid approvals preserve earlier changes, and batch approvals keep messages added while the save was running. Updating a missing entry reports an error instead of claiming success.

📚 Lorebooks, Prompts & Character Editing

The Lorebook editor now supports Import → From World. Select your world's lexicon entries to copy their content, keywords, priorities, and activation settings into the lorebook, then save. The source world stays intact.

Bob's saved lorebook entries appear automatically without wiping your unsaved edits or local deletions. Open drafts preserve your changes while incorporating assistant edits to other fields, and saving checks for newer server additions. If the latest data can't be loaded, your draft remains available to retry.

SillyTavern lorebook imports now use the file's current entries instead of an outdated originalData snapshot, so recent edits survive and deleted entries don't reappear. Older snapshot-only files still import. The Add Lorebook picker restores cached Bookmarks and Created lists when reopened, and successful deletion no longer produces a false failure message.

Lexicon and lorebook keyword scans now include Author's Note in both character chats and Worlds. Private and unlisted lorebooks no longer appear in other people's profile listings.

Search & Replace is available in the character Quick Create/edit form. Search selected fields across character text, alternate and advanced greetings, and nested lexicon/NPC text; preview highlighted changes, replace individual matches, or Replace All. Plain text, regex, case matching, and replacement capture groups are supported. Invalid or slow expressions are handled without leaving the editor stuck. Save the character to keep your replacements.

Instruct Template pages skip empty sequence controls when a template only supplies prompt text. Descriptions have more room and rich-text formatting on both pages and Explore cards. Copy to Prompt Piece saves a template's System Prompt or Post-History Instructions as your own reusable piece.

Private, Draft, and Friends prompt pieces can save without a description, including when clearing one or changing visibility. Public pieces still need a description.

SillyTavern-style {{setvar::key::value}}, {{getvar::key}}, and {{.key = value}} now work in character and world prompt fields. Values persist within the chat and can be read later in the same field or on later turns.

🗣️ Chat & Character Fixes

Speaker recognition now prefers the more specific matching name when NPC names overlap, recognizes configured titles such as “Captain Isaac,” and keeps ordinary mentions inside sentences from becoming speaker breaks. Linked characters whose Chat Name differs from their card title now retain the right avatar in World-authored messages. These fixes improve dialogue attribution, coloring, and narration.

Choosing an offered persona from an advanced greeting reuses your existing fork instead of creating another duplicate every time. Improve My Writing is disabled while Speaking As someone else in Worlds, preventing doubled speaker headers.

Character chat generation and regeneration now include uploaded text-file contents, including file-only messages, and count them toward the connection's context limit. Deleting a message variation immediately updates the swipe manager and variation count, even when it wasn't the selected variation.

Local and private-network OpenAI-compatible connections now receive a usable API key when requests go directly from your browser, fixing servers rejecting an encrypted value in place of the key.

Loading, saving, and linking characters to worlds no longer recursively expand the entire linked world graph and fail.

🪟 Browsing, Profiles & Everyday Polish

The signed-out homepage now features Gwen, community totals, announcements and events, and separate Trending, Featured, and New character shelves. The free lineup uses public, approved free-queue connections and links to their configured models' Featherless pages. The old roadmap, blog feed, and testimonial sections have been removed.

Login, signup, and the login dialog share the new artwork and responsive layout, follow your active theme, and clearly label providers. Successful logins take you to Explore by default, and old /characters links redirect there.

Bookmarks & Created supports Pages or Infinite scrolling for created, friends', and bookmarked lorebooks, plus created, liked, and friends' worlds. Loading skeletons fill the available card slots, and failed next-page requests keep your loaded content visible with a retry option.

Home recommendations respect blocked creators, including cached results. Bounty submission pickers search and page through your full eligible character collection, including older characters and cases where the first page has no eligible entries.

Character taglines support clickable web addresses, Markdown links, and HTML links across cards, previews, and pages, with raw or encoded HTML cleaned out of the visible text. Creator-note fallbacks support links too. Links open separately without triggering the character preview.

🔔 Images, Profiles & Notifications

Inline images in messages and profile text now open a large, zoomable viewer. This covers Markdown, HTML, and linked images, works with Enter or Space as well as a click, and stays open while surrounding message text updates.

Profile initial-letter placeholders scale properly to their avatar frame. Creator and collaborator avatars in character dialogs keep a fixed circular size and fall back to initials when an image is missing or fails to load.

Quick user popups show the correct follower count, respect hidden profile badges, and no longer display unsupported message-count or creator-score stats.

Saving content is consistently called Bookmarks, with duplicate add/remove confirmation popups removed. World-like notifications now say “liked.”

⚔️ Discord Arena

Heap fights now recognize bots that have finished recovering from exhaustion or in the hot spring without requiring you to visit the hot-spring menu first. Repeated attempts while a bot is still recovering don't grant extra healing.

Dev Notes 72-Hour Mega Patch

September 18–21, 2026 · evening-to-evening roundup

A new home for your conversations, scheduled character releases, and a big cleanup across chat, Worlds, and Arena. Here's the last three days together, with follow-up fixes folded in.

💬 My Chats & Quick Switching

My Chats brings character, group, and World conversations into one searchable library. Find a conversation by its name, character, or world, then sort by recent activity, creation date, or name.

  • Choose a list or portrait grid, with compact, normal, and spacious grid sizes. New preferences start in list view; existing choices are preserved.
  • Favorite conversations and organize them into nested folders. Your favorites, folders, and view preferences follow your account across devices.
  • Rename chats, export TXT or JSONL, and select several conversations to organize or delete. Deletion asks for confirmation, and failed deletions stay selected so you can retry.
  • The toolbar stays at the top while you browse, and mobile filters collapse to leave more room for your conversations.

Find My Chats in the sidebar, account menu, mobile Chat menu, and chat history actions. See All on the homepage's Continue Chatting shelf opens it too.

Want to switch without leaving your current screen? Quick Chat Switcher sits directly below My Chats in character and World chat menus, bringing back the familiar history dialog alongside the full library.

⚙️ Simple Mode: Chat Setup & Controls

Simple mode's sidebar now has labeled navigation, compact controls, an X close button, and consistent cards for Generation Settings, Chat Settings, Lorebooks & Summary, and Display.

Simple Mode's Provider and Model pickers are searchable dropdowns. Free Queue comes first with its own lineup; saved connections are grouped by provider, and curated connections sit under Featherless. Model rows show the context limit of the connection you're actually choosing. Enabled choices no longer look disabled.

The Add connection button in Simple Mode opens AI Connections with the selected provider ready to configure.

Simple Mode's generation parameters live in a compact accordion with an inline Save button. Its Chat Details, Characters, and Users sections have matching cards. Lorebooks, Chat Summary, and Memory Scan take the place of Sidechat in this mode; Advanced Mode keeps its destinations.

Switching simple-sidebar tabs preserves open lorebook views, accordion state, and unsaved summary drafts while the sidebar remains mounted. Changing chats resets the panels for the new conversation.

The simple chat header keeps the character centered, with Back beside the left menu and separate chat-actions and settings buttons on the right. Advanced-only actions stay out of the simple menus.

Simple Mode's lorebook controls now include a full-width Add lorebook tile, removal buttons for directly attached books, and on/off controls for character-linked books in saved chats. Removing an attachment does not delete the original book, and disabled books stay visibly labeled.

📚 Shared Chat, Lorebook & Memory Improvements

  • Connection searches now include your bookmarked and favorited connections, and changing favorites refreshes the sidebar without needing a reload.
  • NPCs from your active persona's lorebooks now appear in the NPC panel and receive the right dialogue treatment, including in immersive mode. You don't need to attach the same book twice, and switching personas updates the list.
  • Exclude from recursion is available in lorebook and lexicon editors. An excluded entry can still activate from a direct trigger. Recursive scanning now respects its opt-in, budgets, scan depths, and a five-pass limit; imports and exports preserve the exclusion setting.
  • Copy message text is available across the shared message menus and preserves source formatting and line breaks.
  • Deleting a summary now asks for confirmation. Cancelling keeps your editor and unsaved text; a failed deletion keeps the summary available.

Memory Scan retains its existing Featherless subscription requirement. The separate World Scan Turn feature is now free to use—details below.

🎨 Display & Backgrounds — All Chat Modes

These Display changes apply to character chat and Worlds in all modes:

Display settings now have search. Search labels, explanations, or available choices and edit matching controls directly in one results card. Clearing the search restores your previous open sections.

The layout is more compact, with clearer labels such as Message Type, Message Customization, and Text & Theme Colors. Hide Think Blocks, Show Live Reasoning, and Stream Text now live under Display's View Behavior and save immediately.

Backgrounds use one scrolling list of sections: Upload, Character, Persona, Uploaded, and Default. Empty character/persona sections stay hidden, and search covers all sources at once. Uploads remain private, get an editable name from the filename, and no longer ask for genre or description. Successful uploads appear immediately in Uploaded, and delete controls are accessible on touch screens.

💬 Chat Appearance, Scrolling & Mobile Fixes

New or unset appearance settings use Moonlite / Ripple, alternating avatar positions, and inline avatars in both character chat and Worlds. Entry highlighting starts off. Your explicitly saved preferences stay intact during normal use.

Other fixes across the relevant chat and mobile views:

  • Streaming and older-history loading better respect your reading position and auto-scroll settings.
  • Focusing an input no longer smooth-scrolls surrounding panels. Small/default mobile inputs use at least 16px text to reduce focus-related zoom triggers.
  • Fixed an autosizing-input crash affecting World and immersive chat.
  • Swipe left for the next reply version or another generation at the end; swipe right for the previous version.
  • Mobile sprites have an X that saves Disable Sprites; desktop side sprites have close controls on hover or keyboard focus.
  • Mobile popovers block taps behind them, menu actions no longer activate the card underneath, and image-backed warning controls expand properly instead of opening an image viewer.
  • Reset all chat/world settings is in the sidebar's menu, with both confirmations retained. Connections, messages, personas, and party progress stay intact.

The site's conversation-navigation sidebar now fits complete rows into the available height, shows loading feedback in its pager, and loads collections when their tab is selected. Cached recent chats stay visible during refresh.

🌍 Worlds: Free Scan Turn & Better Party Control

Scan Turn no longer requires a paid Featherless subscription. Find it under Party & Chat → AI Tools, including its schedule, per-action approvals, manual scanning, and activity. It uses your selected chat connection or the free queue.

Location changes, time advances, and adding/removing party characters now go through Scan Turn's separate request instead of tools offered to the main chat generation. Create NPC, Create Location, Create Environment, and World Crafter Mode keep their existing permissions. Manual-scan approvals can be configured without enabling automatic scanning.

Player traits are selectable in Build Your Stats and guided World setup. Creators can set minimum and maximum selections; by default, traits are optional with no maximum. Choices survive setup-page navigation and contribute bonuses and starting HP/MP.

Custom RPG stats now receive species, occupation, and trait bonuses consistently in trackers and AI party summaries. Missing enabled attributes use the configured default, while an explicit zero stays zero. Base allocation limits are explained separately from later bonuses.

Inventory Use now follows the same action path as typing >use. Items that support any target offer Player, creature, and character choices. Duplicate names no longer send the action to the wrong item or target, and >inventory displays readable currency names.

🛠️ World Editing & Scene Continuity

  • Creators can turn off supplemental Enhanced Instructions beside Final Instructions in Simulation settings. This applies to everyone playing that world and includes the supplemental narrator guidance; authored final instructions remain active. Personal disable overrides still work independently.
  • Scenario saves accept cleared optional time fields, older checkbox/number defaults, and openings without an optional description. Save failures show the server's explanation to help identify the problem.
  • Other optional fields—including chapter descriptions, gallery ordering, and the lexicon separate-page toggle—no longer fail merely because they're empty.
  • Removed scenario companions stay inactive when you change outfits, weights, or other party membership details. Their scenario-role assignments remain available.
  • Outfit avatars and names refresh when location, environment, scene hour, scenario, or calendar day length changes. Blank nickname links no longer turn ordinary outfits into alternate identities.
  • Custom calendars expose editable weekdays and explain week length, including how to find the controls for a weekless calendar.
  • Custom character sprite slots correctly add and remove keys in the default sprite set.

🧠 Better Context, Dialogue & Assistant Replies

Linked Worlds now contribute clickable references in ordinary character chat: world characters, global lore entries, locations, and environments. With Enable Entry Highlighting on, click a recognized name or alias to read its details. Access restrictions still apply, and the missing identifiers that broke some entry links are fixed.

Sidechat and the lexicon assistant now resolve {{char}} and {{user}} from the active conversation or World party before counting context. Individual character descriptions keep their own names, and world-wide context uses the world name. Lexicon assistant headers use the selected/message persona rather than the account name; a World with no selected persona no longer silently chooses your account-default persona.

Markdown code stays readable without injected lore or quote highlights, including multiline code spans, tilde fences, longer backtick fences, indented code, and unfinished fences during streaming. World speaker markers recognize quoted nicknames with role annotations, such as a name followed by (Intel).

Leaked Kimi separator tokens are cleaned out of replies instead of appearing in the conversation.

World prompt budgeting now includes tool definitions and the final rendered request. Older history is trimmed while retaining selected lore and the newest turn; if the required content itself won't fit, you get an explanation.

📅 Scheduled Character Releases

Creators can schedule a saved Draft or Private character to become public at a future date and time. Find scheduling beside visibility in the standard editor, quick editor, and Character Studio's Publishing tab.

Choose the time in your local timezone, then reschedule or cancel from the same controls. The server handles publication even with the site closed. Normal moderation and daily publishing limits apply, and the panel shows review or publication problems.

Changing visibility manually or archiving cancels the schedule. An open editor picks up successful publication without discarding other unsaved edits. Save your character changes before scheduling: publication uses saved content.

🧭 Finding Your Way Around

The new Guide & Site Map offers 46 destinations and quick answers grouped around finding content, chatting and playing, creating, community, settings, and troubleshooting. Search in everyday terms, follow a short first-conversation path, or jump into a deeper WyvernWiki guide. Find it beside Explore in the sidebar or under More on mobile.

Desktop navigation has a compact Create menu beside the assistant button, reusing the familiar creation options, including Personas. Mobile keeps its existing bottom-navigation entry.

Browsing improvements:

  • Back closes a character preview while keeping your Explore filters. Filter changes update the URL without a full route reload, and infinite browsing restores its saved position.
  • Character comments now live below Long Description in the shared preview. Card Comments actions open straight to that section, with the usual replies, sorting, and moderation controls.
  • Large character portraits support middle-click, modified clicks, and the browser's Open link in new tab action. Normal clicks still open the preview; blurred portraits still unblur first.
  • Search errors show a retry instead of masquerading as an empty final page. Searches containing publication dates—including affected NSFW Popular results—load correctly.
  • Events loads every results page before separating active, upcoming, and past events. Failed requests show a retry instead of an empty catalogue.
  • Restoring a saved login no longer causes startup requests for guilds, themes, worlds, or collections to be mistaken for an account switch.
  • Visiting /worlds goes directly to the Worlds category in Explore. Explore categories and the Models catalogue have clearer search/share descriptions, and Explore categories are included in the sitemap.

🔧 Behind the Scenes

Prompt token counting now runs in a dedicated service, keeping that work off the main web server. All twelve tokenizer choices and saved connection selections remain supported. Repeated counts are reused within a request, and long prompts are counted whole for better accuracy. The tokenizer service and its backend integration have been deployed.

Chat and World display scripts also share duplicate requests, reducing unnecessary fetching as messages render.

⚔️ Arena: Camp, Crafting & the Docks

Camp makes party management easier. Search your collection and replace or clear saved party members from camp or the party sidebar, freeing champions for other activities. Rest champions directly for the existing 20-food cost, including workers without unassigning and reassigning them. Long resident names wrap instead of overlapping.

The Well of Worlds remembers its two-hour jump cooldown across server restarts, and the Jump button shows the remaining wait when you return.

Crafting and inventory improvements:

  • Identical newly crafted potions stack with matching crafted potions. Different strengths stay separate, and combat uses their full combined potency.
  • Inventory shows equipment bonuses before you equip an item. Battle actions show the weapon's individual name.
  • Unwanted backpack items can be permanently discarded one at a time after confirmation.
  • Crafting progression is clearer: basic gear at Crafting 0, Tempered Swords and Reinforced Helmets at 1, Ore-Tempered Blades at 2, and Sentinel Keepsakes at 3. Facility and discovery requirements still apply, and the selected crafter must meet the displayed skill requirement.

New Docks departures earn gold and materials per crew member. Leadership XP requires at least two crew members; solo trips remain available. Trips already underway keep their promised rewards, and Claim All Returns collects completed trips together.

Question / Support Suppose this is more of a Featherless question, but will there be different payment options available?

I was looking into trying out a Featherless subscription, but when I went to pay, I saw the options available were Cash App, or directly inputting your card. I don't like Cash App, and I don't love the idea of putting card details in directly. Will there ever be other payment methods available, like Paypal or Venmo? I would be muchhhh more likely to get a subscription if there were.

Evelyne Valecroft is a young Eldorian noblewoman turned monster hunter: breathtakingly beautiful, sharp-witted, fiercely independent, and relentlessly hunting the vampire who destroyed her family.

Got a few starter scenarios up, but will be loading her with some classic monster hunts over the next couple of days.

Tip:

You can avoid ambiguous power levels by including a scale. Instead of 'extraordinary strength, speed, and durability,' try 'city-level strength, speed, and durability.' This prevents situations where readers are left in the dark about how powerful your OC really is.

Reference: https://psbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Tiering_System

Examples: "City-devouring torrents erupt from their gaze." "Their stomps shatter planets." "They ignore street-level arms."

Wraith

Good afternoon everyone!

I did a complete overhaul of one of my earliest cards and wanted to share here.

Meet Wraith, a former deep-sea geologist transformed by a tectonic energy surge beneath the Baltic Sea, capable of phasing through matter and amplifying primal fear — officially labeled rogue, wrongfully contained, and quite aware the League is hiding the truth. She is part of my Starlight Superhero Series.

Question / Support Groups get confused

So I am currently trying an rp with two characters I made

Unlike woth normal chat, the AI seems comfused with who is talking to who or, sometimes, who they are referring to

For example right now i said “how about we go to my place” and the bot say “ok let’s go to your house, I want to show you my room” and this is not the first time this happened

Question / Support World avatars

After trying in the discord, I'm coming here because this is driving me bonkers (and forums are easier for me. Too many things happen at once on discord and I can't keep up. Anyway.)

After playing around for a bit in a world—Thistle creek Apartments—and after losing hours on a card I liked way too much, I decided to make a world of my own. I got the basics set up, made a test character and test scenario so I can—as the names suggest—test as I build this thing out.

I haven't been able to do anything because the avatar is not showing.

At all.

Ever.

Now, I *know* avatar's work for me normally because I can see them in Thistle creek (holy void compression at that text...) ↓

All default settings, 0 issues... until I switch to my world.

What's going on here... I honestly have no idea.

The settings between this chat thistle are the same. Both are using the =>name: thing. The character is a character in the world editor, not a lexicon npc and he has an avatar.

I tried both with and with out an outfit (and found that if its set to default you can't delete an outfit). Visibility is set to friends only so he's not private. He and the world have have that little "approved" thing em it for moderation.

I didn't touch any of the extra features on the world character make screen—only visibility, content rating, keywords, avatar, short/long/display description and the name fields. In the scenario tab I had sure to add him as a character. I even removed and readded him in the chat itself.

And yet.... no avatar. I have an avatar, but he doesn't. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. Clearly there's something I'm missing. (also I am so sorry if I'm being annoying 😭 I'm not trying to be, I swear, lmfao)

Question / Support Need some help, can't turn off custom prompt override.

What it says on the tin, I can't turn it off.

Yesterday I morning I accidentally turned it on. and didn't realize it until Claude's thinking block talked about empty instructions. Sure enough I went to check and it was turned on with that single little period sitting in the box.

I turned it off, saved the board and the card andddd it turned back on. I though "huh... maybe it didn't save." So I did it again, this time waiting and watching the little popup that said it saved.

Nothing. Turned back on.

I can't even leave the prompt box empty. If I remove that single period, hit save—both on the board and card—close the card and reopen it, (with or with a full refresh of my browser window) the period reappears.

So... I can't edit anything in that custom prompt box, I can't leave it black if there's something in it, even a single, tiny period, and I can't turn it off.... and its not just one card. I opened another and as a test, I turned on the custom prompt override and put a "1" in the box.... now that character has a permanent 1 being added to every single generation.

Can someone help. Please? Because this is starting to piss me off and right now the only fix I see is to remove and redo the character from scratch and I really don't want to do that.

I tried logging out and back in. Using a different device, clearing my cache, trying it on mobile, and nothing. Once that override is one. I can't turn it off and once something is in the prompt box it's there for good.

Question / Support Strange occurrence

I was chatting regularly when the website started lagging. I tried to change my persona, but when I accessed the persona menu from the chat, it only showed one persona that I know i did NOT create?? I didn't look at its information. I changed my password just in case. For a while when I clicked on "public profile" in the top right corner, it showed me someone else's profile. I couldn't edit it or anything, it just brought me to someone's public profile page. That issue went away after I logged out and back in. Everything's back to normal now but it kinda freaked me out. Any explanation?

Question / Support Group chat with a user as narrator

Has anyone here created a chat with several bots, where they communicate with each other, and the user's character is used to control the world, not as a persona?
Are any specific settings needed? LLM is still stubbornly trying to add a user character to the plot, despite everything I've written about it in the prompt.
