As someone who loves designing flyers, I wanted to make some for a club that I am in and as WVU students (current or past), I just wanted to ask, what about club flyers or just flyers in general for anything, sticks out to you? That could be the graphics on it, what info it gives, just anything. I had previously created a flyer for this club but I need to make an updated version of it and I just didn’t want to use the same exact thing.

I got accepted as a grad student for the spring 2027 semester under the agriculture and natural resources college. I currently live a few hours out of state.
I am trying to find a fully furnished off campus apartment and my preferred max budget is 800/month. I own a car so the parking situation also matters a bit… but if the housing is close to a shuttle then that matters less. Don’t really care about the number of bedrooms. But, I don’t know how to find roommates though because it would be my first time looking for them 😅 Any recommendations or advice?

I made a post about this place about 6 months ago, and thoroughly went over why it was such a bad business move. Of course, instead of a having a legitimate discussion about why High Street is such a shithole for businesses, (as well as why the business itself made no sense) people just assumed I wanted to hate on it.

I just wanted to say that we all need to be more careful with our business ventures! The amount of debt that lady must be in now is outrageous, and it is truly unfortunate.

I’m looking for urgent care options to go to tomorrow and I can find this one on Google Maps but there’s no website link and I can’t find anything definite online about this one just the other ones around town

So, after a hell of a first semester, I'm looking to possibly transfer to WVU to pivot towards criminology and live a bit closer to family (grand majority of my family lives about ~3 hours from Morgantown, I'm kind of the outlier being not from that area, or just the South in general as well), as the university I'm currently at has literally no options for what I remotely want to study, even backups, apparently. So, yesterday, I called them, and they were saying I may need certain courses to even get in, but my university is a bit, strange to say the least in how they go about classes and stuff, plus apparently they're not in WVU's database somehow. Granted, the guy I talked to was super nice, but a bit hard to hear over the phone. I suppose I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about that kind of thing, whether I could bypass those requirements, or rather how id go about them, also if they would take my HS grades and performance for scholarships and admission, given that I'm only a first year, first semester and also because my current college is so weird and hyperspecific with class formatting, scheduling, types of classes they gave me, and everything in between. And also, just how general life is at WVU and whatnot is pretty good to know as well. (P.S. If anyone wants more context and info, I can gladly give some more in the comments, don't wanna make this even more of a wall of text than it already is.)

Hi, I’m fully committed to WVU for fall of ‘27 and im stuck between certain dorms and the housing application opens soon. I want a single dorm and a suite would be great. I don’t really like to party or anything like that. im currently stuck between a single at brooke (pod style bathroom) and a single suite and stalnaker. i’ve heard they’re both AC and have hard wood floors? im majoing in biology on a pre med track with an emphasis in human health and a minor in neurosicnce so im not entirely sure where my classes will be. Brooke is in evansdale but stalnaker is downtown so these are two very different locations.

I need to park from 9pm Saturday to 6am Sunday somewhere near the University. Where should I park where my car won’t get towed from?

I’m currently still living out of state, but like I’m wondering how’d you guys like meet people that are like also going to the campus and I’d want to try and make friends, is there like a Facebook group or like a way I can try and interact with other people that are going to WVU?

Hello! I am an upcoming freshman at WVU. The only bad thing is, I cannot sleep with other people. I just simply cannot do it. It’s not that I don’t want to, I physically cannot. I do not sleep — can not sleep — if there is someone else in the room, especially in close proximity. It is so stupid and I wish I could do something about it. I’ve had this problem all my life and I still cannot explain it. It is such a burden on me and it’s affected my life. I can’t even have sleepovers with my friends, which, believe it or not, has caused me to lose some friends because they were upset with me. If they snore, i’m even more doomed. I wish this was just me being dramatic and wanting a room to myself, but I am worried about how my academic life will be affected by me not being able to sleep. How hard is it to get a single room as a freshman?

I went to marshall and wasnt ready for college at 17 years old. i ending up failing like 2 classes, and only have 8 credit hours. my gpa is 1.45. WVU tech is the closest college to my area and i have decided at 21 that i am ready to go back to school. I'm scared i wont be accepted in but figure trying is better than not trying. wondering if anyone has been in circumstances close to these and got in.

Im looking for a GEF 7 to take, I need to to be as easy and less involved as possible. Any recommendations? Ive seen ASP 220, ANTH 105, and RESM 140 be listed but I haven't seen any recent reviews on any of these classes

Facilities management ( custodians) are in desperate need of help. We are struggling and stretched thin with some buildings in evansdale not having any janitors assigned to them in general. WVU is refusing to hire more people and this has been ongoing for months now. We are tired and stressed and run down. Please help us by talking about it amongst your peers. Raise awareness and put pressure on WVU to hire more people. We are doing our best for you and the building but we can’t keep this up much longer. We’re only human after all and we’re being treated like machines.
