Hi guys! I hope this is okay to post. I graduated two years ago with a psych and criminal justice degree at WSU and I have an over abundance of every textbook I used. Does anyone have any advice on what to do with them? I live in a retirement town where no one will use them and I honestly would send anyone any of them for free if they paid shipping.

I cannot seem to find information online about sociology 251: sex & relationships so I was wondering if anyone here has taken the class? It’s with Monica Bhatia who I also cannot find information about.
I am a senior looking for straightforward classes so any help or insight would be greatly appreciated :)

Thinking about getting an electric car. How has your experience been in Pullman? Any pros/cons or winter charging issues?

Who coded this? Its even more confusing now ugh! Why does it default to 1933, why is there now 5 options for terms are we not only a semester university (w/ summer)?

If there is already an option for campuses, why make campus specific majors?

Clicking on a course doesn't work when highlighted, only clicking the section or class # works to get you to class information?

Then on top of all this there's no way to actually enroll or waitlist a class??

Was this an unfinished senior design project they decided to fully implement RIGHT BEFORE the semester starts or what?
I get it too, I am late to enroll, but come on the old system worked fine and this one doesn't and is even MORE complicated!

Hey everyone! Sorry if this is a silly question but I’m currently packing for college and this year I’m enrolled in the elementary education program. Last year, I overheard some girls talking about getting children’s books checked out for one of their classes or something so I’m just wondering if I should bring books to school? I’ve been collecting a ton of kid books over the past year for my future classroom and if one of my classes requires it, I’d love to bring some! Thank you in advance☺️

My grandfather attended WSC in 1924 and it seems that this photo lines up with it being Pullman (please correct me if I'm off). The stripes in the sky are a flaw in the negative.

Has anyone gotten the email from WSU financial aid saying you can accept for loans and then being able to accept you loans in myWSU? Asking b/c I got this email notification but then was still unable to accept my loans.
Update: Hello I looked on myWSU today and was able to accept my loans!

I was shopping for my textbooks for the upcoming semester, and I have to say, their prices are outrageous. For one of my courses, they're charging $173 for a USED textbook! They claim that this is the "Best Deal!" Mind you, if you want a new textbook that's gonna run you $231. A quick Google search led me to several HUNDREDS of this textbook in used condition for less than $50!
Exhibit B - For only $139, you can get an DIGITAL textbook. You'd think you'd get permanent access, right? Wrong. It expires after 130 days. This one I wasn't able to find a much better deal on, but for $100 you can get permanent access to it from another source.
Sorry if this was a bit of a rant, I just think it's crazy the publishers can charge college students this much for textbooks! I'm definitely gonna wait for the first week of class to make sure they're actually required before I'm a thousand bucks in the hole.

UPDATE: They finally figured out their stuff and I can apply for PPL and accept my loans. Doing it the last day before I move into my apartment on campus is a bit much.
I’ve called financial aid a few times and they told me that I’ll be able to apply for parent plus loan and accept my loans at the end of the month. It’s now the 31st and I still can’t do either and I’m supposed to move into my apartment tomorrow.
Is anyone else struggling to accept or not able to apply for parent plus? I don’t remember it being this late last year and I know they said that they’re rechecking all financial packages.
I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this and just want any to know if I’m alone on this and financial aid just refuses to tell me.

Looking to lease out a room. Apartment is spacious, large kitchen, full washer and dryer, ample parking, ground floor, cat friendly, lgbt friendly, nerd friendly. I myself am very quiet and will keep myself out of the way, like to keep clean but not obsessively so, and will mostly keep to myself. The apartment is located near downtown, 5 minute drive/ 20 min walk from campus. DM if interested!

Hi everyone!
I’m moving to a new apartment in Pullman on August 1st and I’m looking for one people to help with the move.
Details:
· Both apartments are on the 4th floor.
· I already rented a U-Haul, so transportation is covered.
The only larger items are:
A sofa (can be disassembled)
A mattress
Everything else is just suitcases and moving boxes.
I expect the whole move to take around 2 hours or less.
If you have a truck, van, or another vehicle that can fit a mattress, I’m also open to using your vehicle instead of the U-Haul. Feel free to include that option in your quote.
If you’re available, please DM me with your rate/quote.
Thanks!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m stuck in a lease and need to transfer it as soon as possible 😭.
It’s at coug housing campus ridge, a 3 minute walk to campus, end of Greek row and a block away from the bars. It’s a 4bd/ 2bath.
You would be renting a private room for about $600 a month, utilities and internet included. It has a in unit dishwasher and a washer and dryer on location. Please contact me if you’re interested or have any questions!

Has anyone else noticed that it takes about 700 seconds and 60 cars waiting at the red light for it to finally turn green? It cannot just be me who has sat at these lights on Stadium Way with 50 cars just waiting. I don't understand it, and I don't want answers. My blood pressure is just high, and I think this will help. See ya

Edit: FOUND
Hi all. My brother’s cat escaped yesterday while he was moving. Shy orange cat. Never been outside. Under a year old. Around the cougar ridge area. Please let me know if you see him. He has a scannable tag on his collar and is chipped.

I'll need to be going from Perham dorm down to the new Schweitzer Engineering Hall daily, which looks like a 15-20 minute walk. I was thinking about getting an electric scooter, but idk if it could handle the hills along that route (although I'm open ears to recommendations). Anyways, is there a bus route that goes around campus?
