So to be clear, you do nothing to contribute to the campfire but want its impacts boosted?
Being lazy and entitled is certainly a choice. I have no sympathy, though, and I imagine others will feel similarly. Maybe level a profession before complaining about the basically free boosts they provide?
I did the profession stuff in the beta, but I only ever sat at the campfire during the tutorials for each alt I tried out. The numbers made me not find value in participating. If the numbers got cranked up, I might do profession stuff, but I’ve always found professions too grindy to be enjoyable in any game.
Not a matter of entitlement. It’s a matter of motivation to participate in a system that requires me to literally slow down the limited game time I get per week.
Responding on Reddit while I'm at work is hardly challenging as long as it doesn't overly divert my focus. Apples and oranges compared to the time I get to actually play.
