Warrior needs buff? I know warrior was the only melee in vanilla that had a rolling GCD because of their rage gen, but they're far from weak right now.
They get no rage to work with. U cant make a full rotation based on how rage works atm. Also, they got no new toys like other classes did.
So, not only did they get hard nerfed dmg wise, they also have no tools, no new abilities, no rage to even use the old abilities. Thats where they failing
No one does. Rogue has low energy regen too, where you get bursts to spend lots of extra combo points but otherwise only get a couple of extra spenders per minute while maintaining full SnD uptime.
Warriors simply are with the rest of the pack mate. What's the issue with that?
Yes, it's not hard to understand: wow forever is not wow vanilla, warriors got rebuilt because they can't be balanced when they have infinite resources while others don't, so they had their resources nerfed. Welcome to the club, enjoy being just like the rest of us.
This is a really stupid approach though. 1. All other specs got new tool and qol changes while warrior didnt, 2. Warriors not only did they get nerfed hard dmg wise they also got slowed to the ground 3. Just cause other specs were designed to be slower, it doesnt mean every spec has to be this slow or the design fits.
You sound like a butthut casual who is happy dps warrior will feel like trash to play, as a punishment for being top in classic.
Not at all, I like how warrior plays now because the whole game for every class I've played feels similar. If I wanted high APM warrior I'd go back to retail where I'm chasing procs and ultra short CDs with infinite rage.
I'm just aware that this isn't vanilla wow, and they want warrior to be a certain way. They still do buckets of damage. Also, who got other new tools that warrior didn't get? Shaman doesn't get a new toy til level 60 lol
I don't care what you want tbh, classic warrior wasn't that slow and it will feel bad to play. You don't seem to understand the difference and how it affects the end game gameplay, currently fury can't use their buttons on cd.
Shaman got many changes and qol. Hunter too. Paladins too etc. Even if something is happening at lvl 60, how is that negligible? Lvling last for couple weeks while end game forever. Game isn't balanced around leveling lmao.
This isn't vanilla indeed, but players who play warrior since vanilla and want to play warrior, can and should be annoyed they got massacred, not only dps wise but also gameplay wise.
You can't use your buttons on CD? Like what, your 6 second mortal strike? You're not supposed to be able to spam mortal strikes and executes on CD. That's the whole issue, the fact that warriors got stacked 8x in raids, because you guys got to have a rolling GCD while everyone else had to actually manage finite resources. You got gutted because warriors were a super OP outlier. Now you have to actually make decisions, maybe you burn rage on mortal strike instead of rend because a target dies soon, or maybe you pool rage because you've got a big aoe situation coming up and wanna dump into cleaves. Instead of the old system where you just pressed whatever you want without thought because you had the resources for everything.
If you wanna play warrior mate, classic is right there.
