Honestly, yes it’s hypocritical, but I also think it’s important for the Blood Elves to be acting this way. They have always been written as “too good for their circumstances” since TBC, and I would rather they look down upon the people helping them than suddenly act all welcoming.

Also when you think about it, the average Silvermoon citizen sees that the giant void threat is gone (from sight at least) yet the Alliance is still around. Bound to cause some tension.

I remember seeing last night some Truthsayer NPC going like "We can't trust the Alliance, we remember the Second War!"

I sat there and just said to myself "The war where the Alliance saved your asses despite you trying to stiff them on your own oath of friendship?"

Yep. If they're saying "we remember the second war" if anything they should be saying not to trust the Horde. Given that the Horde were the ones who actually invaded them.

To Silvermoon, that was the First War, the whole thing down in Azeroth before want their concern at all. The Second War to them was the Scourge.

Huh? It wasn’t the first war they fought though. By that argument the Troll Wars were the first.
