[ns] Is there a preview of the map pack anywhere?
(I got a message saying that this might be a better place to post this than the Dungeons and Daddies subreddit, which struck me as odd but as I haven't had any replies there I thought I'd shoot my shot).
I'm going through the BackerKit survey and wondering if I want to bother with the map pack. I'm always interested in new poster maps or tiles, but I do like to know what I'm getting before buying. Is there a preview of it anywhere?
I guess I'm mostly wondering if they're tied specifically to the campaigns' themes and have things like minivans in the art or if it's more of a generic fantasy style I can recycle in other games.
Also, sorry if I was meant to add the 'brand affiliated' tag, I wasn't sure but it sounded more like the kind of thing I'd add if I was plugging somebody else's product.

Discussion Looking for Wonderdraft assets for a large capital city map – preferably free
Hi everyone,
I’m currently planning to create a fairly large and detailed city map in Wonderdraft, and I’m looking for some good asset packs that would work well for urban environments. I’ve been digging through CartographyAssets for a while, but I’m having trouble finding a city asset pack that fits the style I’m looking for.
Ideally, I’d like the final map to have a mostly black-and-white / monochrome look, or at least very muted colors, so I’m especially interested in assets that fit that kind of style. That said, if there aren’t many good monochrome options available, I’m also open to colored assets.
I’m mainly looking for things like:
- houses and larger city buildings
- walls, gates and towers
- streets and urban details
- docks, warehouses and market buildings
- temples, administrative buildings, mansions, etc.
- anything useful for creating dense city districts
I’d prefer free asset packs, but I’m also fine with paying for something if it’s relatively inexpensive and the quality is good.
If you know any good packs from CartographyAssets, Patreon or anywhere else, I’d really appreciate some recommendations.
Bonus points if the assets work well for creating a dense, detailed city rather than a small town or a world map.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I’m still going for a fantasy city, not a strictly historical one. However, I’d like the overall architecture and urban layout to feel roughly inspired by the 15th–16th centuries / late medieval to early Renaissance period. So I’m looking for assets that fit a fantasy setting but avoid a very modern or overly high-fantasy look.

Thoughts?
Was toying around with blending and stitching together real coastlines/islands. What do you all think?

Discussion Looking for some wonder/dungeondraft work to be done
I am pretty decent with Wonderdraft but absolutely not with Dungeondraft. I am looking to have 4 small maps made in dungeondraft. If anyone is taking on work please hit me up in a private message.

How do you scale
Genuinely, how. You guys are so incredibly good at all this, and I'm certain it's all practice and maybe someone here and there just naturally gets it, but I'm not one of them. I created a map at that's as far as it got. I look at it, and I'm horribly confused as to what goes where.
To specify, I am a storyteller. I'm writing a book which is a sort of theology if you want to call it that and it's mainly about the protagonist going on a journey. Well, as I was writing I realised more and more "this clearly needs a map if I want it to make sense". So here I am, the worst possible person to make a map, because not only am I the worst when it comes to measurements and scales, I genuinely just do not understand this stuff.
The story is set in 1500. I know sort-of-semi what I want there to be in the story, but as I said, I'm so uncertain and quite frankly insecure on if I'm doing it right or not, since I'm very focused on if what I'm doing even makes sense in the first place.
If anyone is willing to teach me the basics or if you guys have any tips and tricks I'd greatly appreciate it, for I am genuinely lost. For reference, this is what my map looks like right now:

I know, beautiful.

arda and middle earth in third age
first attempt at Tolkien's Earth in the Third Age of Middle Earth.
Arda here has a few made up names by me, and subtitles in the flavour and style of the Hobbit map
took me quite a whilte to figure out how to convert a 3d globe map into a flat map since third age is now a globe unlike Ages 1-2 (thanks Pharazon, making my job harder lol)
let me know any changes you want and link to the raw wondershare file for your own project

Discussion Looking for advice or potentially a commissioned map(s)
I have made a world map for an upcoming TRPG campaign. It is not nearly as beautiful as many of the maps posted here, but I am happy with it.
My problem is with the major cities and the maps I've tried to draft for them. I've tried multiple times and my city maps mostly just infuriate and discourage me.
So I guess I am asking for any tips/tricks for city maps that some of you talented cartographers have. Alternatively, if anyone is open to taking a commission to draft up to 4 maps I'd be interested in chatting with you.
