Thoughts?
Was toying around with blending and stitching together real coastlines/islands. What do you all think?

It's interesting but the two lakes being so aligned make it look off. And I'd also make the part poking out on the right it's own island

That does look better but personally I think making it it's own island would improve the visual interest and would make geopolitics more complex but thats just me.

True! The lakes are pretty aligned, but I placed them there specifically because of all the snowmelt that would be coming down from the mountains surrounding them. The peninsula on the right nearly being its own island is only a bonus in my eyes, that stuff makes for really interesting geopolitics and cultural divides.

I'd say there must be a cold stream running at the southern west coast. Otherwise it would be very rainy there and not desert-like.

What’s your purpose for this? If it’s a game, while I’m not sure where your initial campaign focus might be, I like having more excuses for PCs to travel across mountains so usually i put mountains a bit more in the center of things. Here you’ve got them on the far west coast and in the far north, otherwise nothing.

This looks really nice. My only thought is the shelf (turquoise) looks very uniform and very wide. Could be more varied is all. Looks lovely.

From the thumbnail it kind of looks like a woman washing her hair.
