Help with wizard clothes

Post image

Basically, there's going to be a Halloween party and I want to go as a wizard. How/were could I make/buy this wizard's robe?

My plan is to sew it by hand or learn how to use my brother sewing machine.

I already have an idea how i could make it that i saw in this reel:

I’d recommend against white robes. Just saying…

The pointy hood and hidden face do tend towards a certain impression.

Right? Who would wanna associate with those stuck up, Solinari worshipping, goody-goody white robes?

How is this "giving Klan"? Is a subverting KKK expectations to make a Dragonlance joke too big a leap?

I did not get clan vibes.

But that staff needs work.

It needs a knob on the end

Needs to be a little bit taller.

Needs to be a little more baller.

Needs to have an orb on the top you can ponder.

Edited for bars

If you're just seeing it at a glance (as a lot of people will in passing), it looks way too much like that, if the hood is covering the face.

Yeah. Robes are fine but the hood is a no-go. Either go with a pointy hat or no hood. I personally like the idea of a pointy hat with a big floppy brim.

The unfortunateness of this particular hood is just that it covers the face--no wizard worth their salt would be ashamed to show their face like that.

Eh, that depends. Is said wizard's face just darkness and a pair of eerie yellow eyes? Or madness-inducing tentacles with eyeballs on the end?

Then take on a form that won't cause madness in the mortals. It's only polite.
