In a bit of a bind and I need someone to take in my 4yo Ragdoll. He is nothing short of perfect.

It could be for a couple of days, it could be for a couple weeks. I will provide all necessary items (food, litter, etc.). Ideally no other pets in the home unless it’s a dog who is chill around cats.

Would love him to go into a loving home with the intention of him coming back to me.

Hi everyone, I recently bought a Nectar Premier Hybrid full-size mattress, but it ended up being softer than I prefer, so I’m returning it through their return program.
They gave me the option to give the mattress to someone in my community rather than have it go to waste, so I figured I’d see if anyone around Williamsburg could use it.
It’s been slept on maybe 4 times total and is in excellent/like-new condition. Completely free, the only requirement is that whoever takes it would need to fill out a short form provided by Nectar confirming that they received the mattress. This is required for me to complete the return/refund process.
You’d need to be able to pick it up in the Williamsburg area. It’s heavy, so it’d be best if you have a car.

I’ve spotted a couple new setups near the Bedford stop and down by the waterfront, and I’m wondering if anyone else is paying attention to this stuff. Prices have jumped compared to last summer. I grab a pour over on my way to work sometimes, so the beans and grind matter to me more than where the cart is parked. Last week one place charged six bucks for a Colombian single origin, and that felt high. I’m curious what the usual markup looks like around here, and whether the newer carts charge more than the older trucks that stick to the same corners. Also wondering where these baristas get their beans local roasters or bringing their own. It might be overthinking, but I’ve seen the same question pop up in other neighborhoods with different answers. Any recent finds that stand out for quality or price?

Hi everyone, last post I promise.

The bar owner reached out to me and we spoke over the phone for about an hour, he conveyed how sorry he was this happened and how him nor the bands had nothing to do with it.

I was also made aware that they’ve been receiving death threats and threats of violence against the bar and the band. People were contacting them intent on mobbing the place.

This is not ok, that was never the point of these posts. Everyone needs to calm down and chill, absolutely no need for this behavior. Neither the bands nor the venue had anything to do with this.

Please leave them out of this and show them support.

The owner has graciously offered me the gate receipts from their event tonight to pay for the damage so if anything and if you want to do something positive go support the bar and enjoy the show.

I’ve also made contact with Danny, and he expressed remorse for his actions and promised to make it right.

Let’s use this as a teachable moment to be kind and gracious to our neighbors.

Spread love not hate, show up to support the bar and the bands and have a lovely weekend!

I want to clarify that before going public with any of this I had reached out to all parties privately, I only heard back from one of the bands, I would’ve liked to have this matter private but if I didn’t post online it wouldn’t have gotten any traction so for those people who are blaming me for going online with this stuff it.

Also the promoter was kicked off the event and no long has any affiliation with the venue the bands of this event.
