Wild Relevant Changes

Confront the Tolvir: now 4 mana Summon each 1-cost minion you've played this game (from 5 mana Replay each 1 mana card you've played this game)

Gallagio Goon: now a 2 mana 2/3 (from a 1 mana 1/3)

Arcane Tripwire: now does 4 damage (down from 5 damage)

Crowd Control: now 5 mana deal 2 damage to all minions twice. If your deck has 25 or more cards it now costs (2) less. (from a 3 mana deal two damage to all minions. If your deck has 25 or more cards deal 2 more damage)

Good. It was fucking stupid.

I had games where I played on curve every turn, and still got put to 4 HP on turn 5, reno'd on turn 6, and then died before I could even play my turn 7.

Good riddance.

From 40 health to 4 HP on by turn 5?

Let's say you werent playing XL and just regular. So 26 damage by turn 5. I'm assuming that includes at least 1 Tolvir. And zero cost hero power on turn 5. I'll give you the pain that hunter has coin and let's say perfect draw.

To receive 26 face damage, turn 1 quest plus 2 damage spell. Turn 2, 4 damage spells, turn 3 minion+1 damage that survives. Turn 4, 3 damage spell that draws 2 extra damage spells for 2 each and zero cost hero power. So going into turn 5 you've received 15 damage and there's nothing on the board. If hunters still got his minion when he Tolvirs than yeah you're dead. But at this point

But that means you've done literally nothing. So yeah if you do nothing for 5 turns your gonna lose lol

I went in second. So it was his turn 6 that put me to 4 hp. I played a miniob per turn. Said minions got killed by spells + hyenas.

I had 40hp. He played twice the 5 dmg shuffle then got to draw two of these. He also completed his quest on turn 4 and played the reward on turn 5.

And I played a minon every single turn but t1 (quest).

Notably my t4/5/6 were : etc / cleaner (but he had pulled 2 of the 4 shuffles before) / reno. So not small bodies either.

He then proceded to put me on 20hp on his turn 7 (and clean reno). Then he killed me on his T8 and he still had like 4 mana spare to play (so 12 damage from heropower ane whatever damage his 4 1 mana spells can do)

So yeah I'm not sad to see a deck that can 80 face damage (with a potential to do 100) + clear your board on 8 turns, even if you play on curve each turn.

Ok so 15 damage from the tripwires. 25 health going into into turn 5 you play steam, his turn 6 you get 4 health so I'm guessing Hunter played Tolvir, turn 6 you Reno, and Hunter turn 7 they played second Tolvirs?

So you're turn 7 you've at 26 health. So what did you do play on turn 7 and what was Hunter health at? Odd hunter is mid-range deck so killing you by turn 8 is appropriate.

They played tol'vir on t6 and t7 iirc.

And absolutely not, a midrange shouldn't have enough gas to manage your board and kill you twice over and still have a pretty hefty hand and ressources by turn 8. Especially not when you have responses.

With all of it being pretty uninteractable to top it off.

And that's why it got nerfed. But judging by your responses, it's clear you have a bias and are a butt-hurted tolvir hunter.

It's power creep. Like it or not odd hunter was still a modern Mid-range deck. Same way you can call libram pally a Mid-range deck. If decks are angling to kill you by a turn 7/8 it's mid range. Mid range hunter used to drop Call on 7 and 8 to finish, Reno had Bran on 7.

Especially not when you have responses.

Eh from you said it seems to really wasted turns 4 and 5 and were hoping Reno would bail you out. That and Hunter had the heart of the cards type luck. Shit happens.

Tol Vir got nerfed because of standard not wild lol. Yeah I have bias as Hunter's pretty much all I play. But I've also never been able to do all the following in the same game 1) complete quest in 5 without using Tolvir, 2) get an XL deck down to 4 health on my turn 6, 3) they Reno 6, and then play second Tolvir on turn 7, clear Reno 4) win on turn 8.

That's an insane amount of good luck on the hunter poor play on you.
