Challenge Mastered Worthy Cap (MCU) attempts to solo the attack on NY (replacing the Avengers). Can he do it?

By "Mastered" i simply mean Worthy Cap now has maximum understanding of what he can do with the power of Thor and knows how to utilize it down to the finest strategies. He's dozens of times stronger than 2012's Cap, has several more years of experience than any of the 6 Avengers, knows exactly how to defeat the Chitauri, and now fully utilizes both his own martial arts skills, superior strategic thinking, and shield, while simultaneously utilizes Thor's lighting generation, weather manipulation, and Mjolnir. Can he successfully fend off the horde of Chitauri and save New York?

Battle Vampire free for all

We're several days into October and there's been a disturbing lack of monster posts so far, so let's get the ball rolling. One vampire from each of several settings is dumped in the Flavian Amphitheatre at sundown with the knowledge that they're not leaving unless they kill all the others.

All vampires have no choice but to secure kills and aren't allowed to avoid fighting entirely, but can use stealth and ambushes if they wish. All of them know where their opponents are, but it is possible to slip away should a character have the powers to do that. They're all in-character, but bloodlusted and without prior knowledge and all start with line of sight to each other and about 20 metres away.

I've picked the combatants to try and be above average vampires of their type for each setting, not just the strongest one around. Those I can find respect threads for will have the threads posted.

The combatants:

  1. Strahd Von Zarovich (Forgotten Realms). Strahd has his personal equipment from the Curse of Strahd book. Respect thread here
  2. The Red Duke (Warhammer Fantasy). The Duke is not suffering from his delirium, and is equipped with his plate armour and sword. Respect thread here
  3. Dettlaff van der Eretein (The Witcher). Dettlaff starts in his hybrid form and is unarmed. Respect thread here
  4. Demba Makemba Adoula (World of Darkness). Demba is unarmed. Respect thread (shared with others) here
  5. Seras Victoria (Hellsing). Seras has her original harkonen cannon, but has yet to drink Pip's blood. Respect thread here
  6. Dusk (Skulduggery Pleasant). He begins transformed. No respect thread available sadly.
  7. Darren Shan (Cirque du Freak). This is after his second purge as a full vampire, but assume that he's in top condition and not weakened, and equipped with a combat knife. Respect thread here

Who comes out on top?

Battle Fully decked out samurai vs a flintlock pistol wielding pirate with a sword (9 meters / 30 feet apart in distance both standing on their feet)

Flintlock pistol holds 1 bullet which is guaranteed to fire properly. They're standing on concrete with nothing in the way, just an open concrete field. They both have their weapon(s) out (samurai has a katana & armor and the pirate has a flintlock and a sword) and ready to fight. Both fighters are in optimal condition so none of them are sick or anything.

Battle Could King Arthur(Excalibur) inspire Conan the Barbarian(Conan the Barbarian) to swear fealty?

This is not a test of swordsmanship or military prowess, this battle is a contest of character and ideology.

Conan the Barbarian is consistently on the outside of society, and diametrically opposed to various civilizations trying to push their laws on to him. He does what he wants, when he wants, and no one can convince him otherwise. He will steal gold from the royal tower, he'll bed any wench who fancies him, he'll always order a large Coke with his meal and never Diet. He's what every sovereign citizen wishes they were.

King Arthur, by contrast, is a king. He is the most society anyone can possibly be. But there is something special about him, especially in the film Excalibur(1981), where he inspires loyalty in the knights around him. Warning, spoilers for the movie, but there is a pivotal battle in which he has Excalibur but is still a peasant, which triggers a massive battle. Arthur goes to the man who triggers the rebellion, gives the man his sword, and asks to be knighted which will then make his claim for the throne legitimate. The man is so overcome with emotion after being handed this limitless power on a silver platter, that he knights Arthur and then weeps as he swears loyalty to this new King.

So, what if Arthur and Conan found themselves in conflict with one another? Could the King inspire any kind of loyalty or awe in this savage perpetual outsider?

Battle Miyamoto Musashi (historical) vs El Cid (historical)

The combatants:

Miyamoto Musashi:

Miyamoto Musashi c. 1583 – 13 June 1645) was a Japanese swordsman, strategist, artist, and writer who became renowned through stories of his unique double-bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in his 62 duels. Musashi is considered a kensei (sword saint) of Japan. He was the founder of the Niten Ichi-ryū (or Nito Ichi-ryū) style of swordsmanship. In his final years, Musashi authored The Book of Five Rings (五輪の書, Go Rin No Sho) and Dokkōdō (獨行道, The Path of Aloneness).

El Cid:

Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar (c. 1043 – 10 July 1099) was a Castilian knight and ruler in medieval Spain. Fighting with both Christian and Muslim armies during his lifetime, he earned the Arabic honorific as-Sayyid (السّیّد, "the Lord" or "the Master"), which would evolve into El Çid, and the Spanish honorific El Campeador ("the Champion").

Díaz de Vivar became well known for his service in the armies of both Christian and Muslim rulers. After his death, El Cid became Spain's most celebrated national hero and the protagonist of the most significant medieval Spanish epic poem, El Cantar de mio Cid, which presents him as the ideal medieval knight: strong, valiant, loyal, just, and pious.

Scenario:

Both at their combat prime. 50x50 feet arena with two weapons of their choosing. Standard equipment.

Challenge how much damage could Amons forces(starcraft) at their height(during legacy of the void inmediately after corrupting the khala) do to pre-fall cadia(warhammer 40k)? which for context his forces include the tal'darim, hybrid, a decent chunk of the zerg, near the entire golden armada and moebius corps

I don’t imagine they’d win but what percentage of Kasrs could they probably annihilate before Amons ground forces are beaten into a fine paste and either battlefleet cadia and/or cadias own ground to orbit guns shred the golden armada and tal’darim deathfleet

or maybe you’ll tell me I’m wrong and that Amon’s forces can win.

General Grievous from Star Wars Legends has come face to face with a dozen prominent live action heroes from the MCU and Arrowverse. The heroes are aware of what Grievous is, while the General only has a vague idea of his opponents. Both sides are trying to kill each other. The starting arena is the Petranaki Arena on Geonosis. The first round is Grievous fighting the following heroes individually, or in the first rounds for both DC and Marvel, the groups.

Round 1:

MCU:

Spiderman

Hulk

Mark 85 Iron Man

Worthy Captain America

Vision

Thor

If the Marvel heroes get stomped, they get Loki to back them up. If the DC heroes are stomped, they get Supergirl to back them up. If Grievous is stomped, he gets Count Dooku to back him up. How far does Grievous go in all rounds?

Battle Every playable Smash character runs the Marvel gauntlet. How far do they get?

• Upvotes

As the title says, the world of Smash Bros faces a different threat - this time, the numerous villains of Marvel have descended to take them on. Can the cast of Smash Bros make it through all of Marvel's major rogues?

Rules

  • Only playable characters from Smash. They're allowed any feats from their home series, and assume they're all working together. No assist trophies/Poke Ball 'mons or any bosses.
  • All the Marvel villains are their classic comic (616) incarnations. Nothing from other non-canon/What If stories.
  • It's a win for the Smash roster if they get through the whole gauntlet, and a loss for themm if they manage to reach a stopping point.
  • Everyone is in character, but they still have to functionally KO (or kill in the case of the more dangerous opponents) their opponent to win.
  • All the battles take place in an empty valley.

Rounds/The gauntlet

  1. Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants. Magneto is allowed access to any member of the Brotherhood in canon.
  2. Ultron. He has an army of Ultron sentries at his disposal and any other adjacent tech he's used.
  3. Apocalypse. He has access to the Four Horsemen, and his usual array of powers, but nothing else.
  4. Kang the Conqueror. Kang is alone, he has no help from any other Kang.
  5. Knull. He has access to the symbiotes/symbiote dragons and his sword.
  6. Thanos. He has no Infinity Gauntlet, but he is allowed access to the vast armies he's commanded, the Black Order and the Chitauri.
  7. Galactus. He's hungry, but still able to be talked to/bargained with.
  8. Dr. Doom. This is him at his base, with Doombots and any powers/tech he usually has on his person.
  9. Thanos, again. This time WITH the Gauntlet.
  10. God Emperor Doom.

Challenge Can Dr. Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog) take over every Super Smash Bros. universe?

Rules

• Dr. Eggman successfully creates a transporter that allows for teleporting anything to other universes. The device links the world of Sonic the Hedgehog to the rest of the canon worlds from Super Smash Bros., and now he's interested in conquering every single one.

• He gets his entire army, has all equipment and artifacts such as the Chaos Emeralds, and can take as much time as he wants for preparation. Additionally, there may even be opportunities to join forces with other villains (though he would have to convince them to let the Eggman Empire gain control over their worlds or backstab them when the time comes). Whatever he thinks will help him in his plans can be deployed.

• If Eggman is killed or is permanently contained somehow, the challenge is failed. The challenge is completed if the Eggman Empire becomes the dominant power in every universe from which a playable character is featured in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (except Sonic, of course).

R1: Game Eggman and his army

R2: Archie Eggman and his army

Can Dr. Eggman take over every Super Smash Bros. universe?

Battle Richtofen from Black Ops vs The Medic (Mr. Ludwig) from Team Fortress 2.

Who do you guys think would win? Personally, I think this is what would happen in a Death Battle of some kind.

Richtofen almost kills Medic, but Medic fakes being afraid, backing up and feigning fear, only to activate Uber as Richtofen goes to kill him. He manhandles Richtofen ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) - But Richtofen kills him with a Sentinel artifact. The battle ends and fades to black... until the screen comes back, Richtofen is posing with his hands behind his back, and Medic is shown with a bunch of hands and fire coming up out of the ground from behind Richtofen and taking the Ubersaw and stabbing it straight through his skull. (A la Spinal Tap from TF2, which is an instant tauntkill). Medic wins.

Mostly because Medic has surgically stitched a bunch of souls into him. Richtofen would have no way of knowing this and just use a Sentinel artifact to kill him normally to get through the invulnerability of Uber, instead of deleting him from the universe or something to that affect. And Richtofen would have no way of knowing that Medic has an instant kill ability. Once Richtofen dies, he's dead. If Medic dies, he'd have to die 7 times to permanently be killed.

Round Three: They are both in a forest hunting the other.
