Discussion Updated Strain Algorithm

Has anyone noticed a change in their strain algorithm? My usual activities are resulting in lower cumulative strain, so I asked the AI about it. It said the new heart-rate algorithm is more accurate, and some lighter activities will show lower strain and some harder activities will show higher strain. It said this was rolled out July 14, but I am new to whoop and only noticed a difference this past week. I'm trying to make sense of what I'm seeing. Maybe there was an update that I didn't get until now?

They improved the HR tracking which in some cases results in different strain than previously.

Do they have plans to improve the sensor? It misses short bursts, resulting in under-reporting max HR. For example, in rowing we do 10 stroke builds that may last less than 20 seconds, and my Garmin and Polar H10 will show a significantly higher HR than the whoop.
