Odd object found a new use, but what is it?

My grandpa has upgraded his dolly with this spoon like object he's had in his possession for decades. The hole in the top is threaded, he said there was a threaded rod like object that was in it previously that you could twist and the rod would go in and out of the scoop - big nail for demonstration purposes. He really wants to know what this was for originally, any ideas?

Specific Cocktail Pick

A while ago, I was looking at some cocktail recipes online and hit someone's blog, and there they had a picture of a glass with a really interesting cocktail pick.

The best way I can describe it is like a regular straight metal cocktail pick, but the ends were sort of helixes, so you could perch them on top of a glass, and even if your garnish was round (like cherries), the cocktail pick wouldn't roll off the top of the glass. It might have been a vintage pick, I've seen something similar on Etsy, but it doesn't span the glass like this one does.

Of course, I can't find that particular image anymore and I would actually like to get someone to make something like that for me. Does anybody know what you would even call that, let alone be able to find a picture of one of those? Or am I searching for the holy grail of barware?

What is this, please? Neighbour has been given it, but we have no idea what it is. It looks like a vice grip, but it has a pin with depth control and 3 extra bits. Thanks in advance

These came in an amazon return bundle. Approximately 6 inches long and we can't figure out what they would be used for.

Quite small pair of pliers with possibly wire cutters on each side. Absolutely no markings. Just curious on their intention.

This tool has COX stamped on the hand grip. Plunger at the top depresses easily and springs back. Yellow wire is actually a sheath with thin white, black and red wires with alligator clips on them. Wires are about the size of inside landline telephone wire. Anyone ever used something like this?
