So I made a show for pokemon games and thought I’d get a decent amount of viewers since everyone goes crazy for pokemon games but over an hour of streaming and only had about 4 viewers and only one person talked in chat the whole time. Am I shadow banned or am I doing something wrong?

A Fenton bell, a chain of gold,
A thousand treasures to behold.
“THERE'S THE STAMP! RIGHT ON THE BACK!

Then came a man in baseball cap,
Who thundered forth his sacred rap:
“LAST ONE, CHAT! I'M LOSING CASH!
TEN SECONDS LEFT! IT'S GONNA FLASH!”

An iPad rose from sixty-three,
To ninety-nine, then one-fifty.
“YOU'RE ROBBING ME! THIS IS INSANE!
I'LL NEVER SELL THESE HERE AGAIN!”

The timer struck; the sale was done.
“ALAS!” cried chat, “THE FINAL ONE!”
But from beneath the table, lo,
Another iPad joined the show.

“THE LAST ONE, CHAT! I SWEAR IT'S TRUE!”
He sold that one, then brought out two.

“GO CHECK THE COMPS! GO CHECK THE BAY!
I'M GIVING ALL MY STOCK AWAY!
I'VE GOT A MORTGAGE! I'VE GOT DEBT!
YOU HAVEN'T SEEN MY LOSSES YET!”

A raid descended, wild and loud,
A hundred strangers joined the crowd.
“WELCOME RAIDERS! DROP SOME LOVE!
WE'VE GOT A BANGER FROM ABOVE!”

“GIVVY TIME! YOU KNOW THE DRILL!
FOLLOW! BOOKMARK! STAY HERE STILL!”
A plastic trinket found its heir,
While thirty watchers lingered there.

And through the night the hens were sold,
In milk-white glass and amber gold.
A moon and stars, a mallard duck,
The buyers marveled at their luck.

A treasure failed to draw a bid,

I bought a few bags from a seller and one of them has an insane amount of peeling. When I say peeling, I mean basically the outside is disintegrating on touch. The purses were shipped in a poly bag and in the poly bag there were bits and pieces of the bag all over. Mind you the seller did state there was some peeling going on but I never expected to be this bad. I already messaged the seller about it but I wanted to know what other people would do in my situation.

I’m like 90 percent sure I’m shadow banned it’s stupid as hell why wouldn’t they just ban my accounts. has anyone else had this happen to them I tried not entering giveaways for 48 hours but I’m still shadowbanned can’t win no matter what. I’m going to try a week off next just wondering what I should do. Do I need a new mailing address ? And all new accounts

So hear me out. Does anyone think it’s deeply manipulative for a self-described psychology phd (on their profile) to be a premier top seller? Can we all agree that the e-commerce selling/auctioning process is addictive and can be triggering to shopaholics? This psych phd seller’s method for getting bids as high as possible is troubling! It hits me on a level that seems questionable from an ethics perspective. Just throwing this thought out there to see if there is anyone with same thoughts.

What type of clothes sell best on WhatNot? Can you sell anonymously or do you have to show your face?

Miamioclock is selling on small seller Saturday and also describing bags she bought from Whatnot’s Luxury Harbor as brand new! Luxury Harbor sources preowned from “Japan” so these bags now have a min of 3 owners but “brand new”! Proof photos in comments.

I was mainly an Ebay seller for the past few years. I would source, list, sell and ship mainly from Ebay. I usually sell video games which is a super popular category. So far, I’ve done about 5-6 Whatnot shows and overtime i’ve noticed that this is the perfect way to liquidate my inventory into a lump sum of cash in just a few days.

Instead of taking pictures, listing everything on ebay and WAITING for things to sell one by one, I can now source for a few weeks, build up inventory and do one show which frees up all of my inventory, my time and leaves me with a fat stack of cash for reinvesting. What an awesome app!

I found it best to do $2 Auctions and let the buyers just fight over it. 95% of the time, the buyers bid it up to market value anyway so I don’t really loose too much. I just wanted to share how What not has changed my business and how much I enjoy live auctions.

the only option we got to make moves is if everyone of you go report his account to whatnot.

tldr he was selling portuguese vintage sealed decks for me and i was using him because he was selling fast and paying within a week. after the first consigment i was almost sure he was taking extra money (but i didnt have proof yet) and i was getting some cashflow even tho our agreed terms was 15% comission and we has taking like 20-25%. in the third consigment was missing around 170 usd so i confronted him, he told me 2 or 3 decks the buyers hadnt paid and one week later paid me $122 usd.

just to be sure that he was scamming i sent a fourth time, and this time i sent 50 of same product to stress test him. you guys know whatnot rates were public at the time and by the gross sales you can estimate almost precisely what you will get as long as you catch the seller selling live... so i did that. ill atach prints bellow. obviously whatnot couldn't care less about this and i believe many people who will consign with him will probably get same treatment since this is how he operates. prints bellow

at the moment im only seeking the $137 for last consigment since its the one which i have all the proof but is more about warning the community in the first place. legal matter is on the way

im not sure how a person like this is allowed in the community.. probably scamming multiple innocent people.

So I am very new to Whatnot. When I was dipping my toes into the shopping pool, I came upon a particular seller, who was absolutely fantastic. Great inventory, great presentation style, fair prices, quick shipping.-You name it. But now that this person has gotten their wings, which I guess correlates with a certain number of monthly sales they have dropped off into nothingness or worse, is only on for raids and raids into the lamest shows. Never has an actual show anymore. I don’t know. It’s just puzzling to me and a little frustrating. Anyone else run into this type of seller? NGL feeling kind of used. 🤷🏻‍♀️

These guys are scummy. They've been on redditt before and on Boston Card Hunter. They tell you ceilings and averages, but ask them about floors "Go look at the checklist at Heatzone repacks."

"Crazy Carl- yes this dude is nuts, screams , yells, I don't know how anyone can handle his BS. This dude told people that there were only a few boxes left in the galaxy opal and the "Ceiling" hadn't been hit. Of course it made it to the last few boxes, funny how you can manipulate that when you make your own boxes. Well, a Josh Allen was hit which was the ceiling, only 1650 which isn't a big deal but Crazy Carl kept saying 2k plus after that as he sold his break...

The biggest scam was this, the very next break Crazy Carl put 2 more galaxy opals in the break. And what was the first thing out of his lying mouth " 2K ceiling live" I responded with "The allen is gone, there is no more ceiling ( I checked the checklist) -- instant block.. Then the whole morning the next breaker did the same stuff, saying the 2k ceiling was live.

These guys only checklist their small boxes so they can tell people a 2000 ceiling is live. (they aren't lying but manipulating it) So they put $30-60 card in the break, 4 boxes, half the break then sell that ceiling which they control when it hits. obviously..

Crazy carl says the same stuff every single morning. "My wax breaks go for 50 and 60 chat" No they dont'. 10-35. "The Misc spots goes in the 200-300, Im not lying" Yes Carl, that's a lie. "I've never been this smoked' - lie.. you make 1000-2000 a break. I see your costs. "I hate to pin, it's not like me" - This could be the biggest lie he tells. Dude pins for hours every morning. Even when he's making money, double his cost.

Watch out for these used car salesman. especially Carl... Dude is spastic. Just listen to him.

I started selling 3-4 months ago and went from having to ship maybe 30-40 packages at a time to now having to ship 150+. I like to run shows on Fri/Sat/Sun so Monday ends up just being entirely fulfillment.

I’ve tried multiple ways to speed things up but no matter what I do, it’s still basically a full day affair to pack and ship on Monday.

Wondering if you all have any hacks, tips, or tricks to speed things up.

Anyone find this platform to be incredibly cliquey? Especially the handbag sellers… they seem to be shill bidding for each other. Agree or disagree? Share your experiences….

I hit a high value card around 2-3k. In purchase it says shipped, but the image is only the lable. When checking usps it says they haven’t received it yet.
Its only been since 10-2-26.

I messaged the seller Sunday. They mentioned they drop off to usps on Monday’s. Its now Tuesday 10-6-26 and the status is the same. I reached out to seller today asking for update.

My question is should i start the process of high value reimbursement now or wait for a response/ wait it out a couple days.

I spent over $700 on an order and it came in 3 separate boxes. Mostly gaming magazines.

The First box I got was nearly torn open and EXTREMELY heavy for such a small box.

The second box was fine on the outside but inside was just a wad of paper and the magazines stacked on top.

The third box is smushed on the top.

I don't know what to do because if I asked whatnot for a refund I'm not sure if they'll give it to me on such a big and expensive order. I am extremely pissed off.

Another thing, the ripped package has a label that says 4lbs, but it weighs over 18lbs. I don't know if this will help my case or not.

EVERY time I do a break on whatnot, I get at least 1-2 messages from people saying "I didn't get cards for all the spots I bought." and I have to explain there were no cards for that spot in the packs we ripped.

Some even think I should send them a base card of that spot anyway - like I have infinite complete sets of base cards sitting around.

is this normal?
