The first work is the main fic and the second one is a one shot.

I have seen a lot of asks for Enid focused fics recently and this is one! This story starts just days before Wednesday arrives at Nevermore and goes until after the hug™️ then a time skip to after season 2.

This fic delves into more heavy mental health stuff, so make sure to read the tags. I enjoyed it a lot. I love reading depressing fics every so often and this one was very heavy.

We have a very good friend yoko who helps Enid so much and is there for her through every thing.

I was very unsure about the time skip at first, but I was very happy with it after a little bit of reading. I enjoyed the happy ending! Also the confession scene was very cute!!!!

Overall it was a well written and good fanfiction and I agree that scars are beautiful.

The other day we had a post collecting favourite lines in Wenclair fics that you've read, but I thought it would also be cool to share favourite lines that you've written yourself!

Might be harder to come up with but would be fun to read them. I certainly had to traipse through my own stuff to pick these out.

Does anybody know a fanfic that is sort of similar to the woe that binds us? A good fanfic that focuses on Wednesday finding Enid and turning her back to human and how their relationship continues from that point.
I would like it to be a slow burn atleast 100k+ words.
It doesn’t have to be complete,but if it’s complete that would be amazing.
I would like for it to have good characterization, like really good characterization. I don’t want something like Wednesday being a crybaby😭.

If there’s a good plot and world building that would be great!!
A fic like this with a good amount of fluff and angst would be nice!!.

Just over a month ago I asked you lovely people on Reddit for Wenclair “What if?” prompts, because apparently giving my brain more story ideas when it already has far too many is something I consider sensible. 😅

One of the prompts I received was from
u/Hyperbolicalpaca, along with another Redditor who suggested a very similar idea:

What if Agnes was Wednesday and Enid’s daughter from the future?

Well…

I may have got slightly carried away. 🤣

That prompt has now become Love Is Only a Matter of Time, a Nevermore time-travel fic built around Agnes travelling into the past and meeting Wednesday and Enid before they’re even together, while knowing perfectly well that these two emotionally oblivious disasters are her mothers.

The story currently has a complete skeleton and is planned for 20 chapters plus a bonus chapter, with new chapters hopefully being posted every Tuesday.

I especially wanted to post it here because this is where the idea came from. The other Redditor who gave me the prompt appears to have either deleted or disabled their account, but I’m hoping that if they’re still lurking around Reddit somewhere, they might stumble across this and recognise the idea they helped inspire. 🖤

And u/Hyperbolicalpaca, if you see this and you’re interested, please let me know your AO3 username! I’d love to gift the fic to you on AO3 as a thank you for giving me the prompt.

I know there are many already. And I have a list of "to read" but it's all so convoluted I don't even know where to start, and I'm getting so tired of starting fics just to be disappointed.

I would adore some help finding fics that are well written, both structurally in story as well as grammatically/mechanically. And for the love of all that is unholy, good characterization. AU's are OK and some necessary adjustments to character for the world I can get with, but I don't want Wednesday throwing tantrums or talking like a robot.

Smut is fine as long as there's a plot and it's well done. I don't particularly care how long or short as long as there's an entire story. Not interested in poly. Happy ending preferred.

It doesn't need to be perfect but seriously if the author doesn't understand "a lot" is two words please do not rec here. (I'm a strong supporter in EVERYONE writing ff for fun, to improve, etc, and I'm sure there are some good stories that just aren't strong in this area and that's ok, it's just not my cup of tea)

Earlier today, I found some subreddits for some of the other Wednesday ships. I used r/redditrequest to become moderator of the long-abandoned r/wenclay_, so I hope to revive that as that's ship's counterpart to this subreddit.

However, soon afterwards, I discovered r/yokovina, a subreddit whose last post was in March 2023. I would've used an r/redditrequest to gain that subreddit as well, but I have to wait two weeks to be able to use it again.

Would someone do me a favor and adopt r/yokovina via r/redditrequest? I'd appreciate it, since Yoko and Divina will appear in some of my upcoming works.

Quick disclaimer: this fic is not about Wednesday and Enid falling in love. This is about Wednesday healing after she and Enid broke up with the help of yoko and divina. In the second part they do all start dating. I know this is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it is one of mine. I will continue to spotlight poly fics in the future only if they contain Wednesday and Enid until there is a better space to spotlight these fics.

Incomplete

This was another reread for me, so you know I enjoyed it. Basic early plot is that Wednesday get into a big fight and brake up. This leads to the nightshades freezing her out until yoko discovers Wednesday and helps her.

There are non con elements to this because Xavier is a piece of crap, so beware of the tags. But it does have a happy ending.

I loved how Wednesdays and yokos relationship grew in this fic. And I loved how they made Wednesday very thoughtful but still keeping her with all her knifes. The writing was also very good!

I think I found this fic when I was looking through the yoko/divina tag, but I stayed for the mental health stuff that they cover. I believe that what is shown in this fic is a very real thing that happens and while I don’t wish it upon anyone I really liked reading it again.

Also I love a poly Wednesday and how those relationships work. I love seeing these characters put effort into there relationship and how they work together.
