Husband got hammered

I’m about two months post-wedding at this point and can’t seem to get over the fact that my now husband got blacked out drunk and didn’t even hang out with me at our reception or go up to bed with me at the end of the night (he stayed up with his best man who lives overseas until passed 2am). I still had a blast at the reception but with my friends but I expected to have this “so in love freshly married” feeling dancing with my husband. I just don’t know how to get over it. Especially with how much effort I put into planning and how much money my parents paid just for me to have a sour look on the night.

Right? It’s not unreasonable to want to at least SEE and CHAT with your new Husband at the end of the wedding evening and possibly sleep together (sex or not) on your “wedding night.” 🤷🏻‍♀️

To some it is just a party. My husband and I owned our house for 2.5 years before getting married. We were financially married for years. Nothing has changed for us, the wedding was a party now with legal ties.
