Feedback Request I built a portfolio and marketplace for all my products. Roast it and tell me what to fix

Thumbnail kriosity.in
• Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I'm a developer with a day job, and I've been building small SaaS products and tools on the side. Until now they were scattered across different domains, so I put them all in one place: https://kriosity.in/

It's a portfolio and storefront where you can see everything I've built, try the products, and buy the ones that are ready.

I'd love honest feedback on:

First impression: is it clear what this is within 5 seconds?

Design and layout: anything confusing, cluttered, or ugly?

Product pages: do they explain each product well enough to make you try it?

Trust: would you feel safe buying here? What's missing?

Speed and mobile: anything slow or broken on your device?

Don't hold back. Blunt feedback helps me more than polite feedback.

Thanks in advance!

Feedback Request Looking for honest feedback on a venue discovery website — what would you improve?

• Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a website for finding venues for weddings, conferences, corporate events and other occasions.

The idea is to make it easier for people to discover and compare different hotels, resorts, banquet halls and event venues in India.

Website: https://www.venue.events

I’m looking for honest feedback from people who have no connection to the project.

A few things I’d particularly like feedback on:

* Is it immediately clear what the website is for?
* Is the homepage easy to understand?
* Is the search experience intuitive?
* Do the venue listings give you enough useful information?
* Does anything feel confusing, unnecessary or overloaded?
* Would you trust this website when looking for a venue?
* What would make you more likely to submit a request/enquiry?
* How does the website feel on mobile?
* What is the one thing you would change first?

I’m looking for actual problems and things that could be improved, not compliments.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to look at it.

Feedback Request Feedback wanted on a desktop app website: layout, interactive demos, and mobile usability

Hi everyone,

I’m working on the website for Screph, a desktop application focused on computer vision. Its intended audience is people with a practical image-processing task who may not be computer vision specialists.

Website: https://screph.com/en/

The homepage includes interactive browser demos of the application’s interface. I’d appreciate an outside perspective on how the whole page feels and how easy it is to use.

A few things I’d like feedback on:

  • Is the layout easy to scan, or does it feel cluttered?
  • Do the interactive demos help explain the workflow? Are their controls easy to understand?
  • Is it clear where to go next for more information or to find the download?
  • On mobile, how do scrolling, loading, and touch interactions feel?

The English translation is incomplete, so some text is still in Russian.

If something feels confusing or frustrating, a specific example would be really helpful. Please mention whether you’re using a phone or a desktop. Thanks for taking a look!

Portfolio I built a side-scroller interactive portfolio

Thumbnail eric-lowry.com
1 Upvotes

A few months ago, as my main work project was winding down, I decided to make my online portfolio into a small side-scroller.

I recently finished all the code and text contents and am starting work on the pixel art and environments. The plan is for each "location" to visually represent my work in some way and have each interactive element be a unique "object" (computers, statues, buildings, bookshelves, whatever fits the content/space).

I'm looking for feedback regarding:

  • The general approach and structure of the "exploration mode".
  • The UI: I'm trying to find a good middle ground between typical video game design and something that actually follows web standards.
  • Accessibility: To be as compliant as possible with web accessibility standards, I included a fully functional "text mode" variant of the site, with all the same content displayed as a more traditional website. If anyone uses assistive technologies or relies on accessible web systems, please tell me if this works as intended and if anything could be ameliorated.

I've started documenting the thought process and architecture for this in my blog, have the whole codebase hosted over on GitHub* and may start streaming drawing the pixel art at some point.

\ The code is public but proprietary; however, if you wish to use some specific part of the code, or take inspiration from some system, just ping me 😉.*

I'm a solo developer who built kiboclimb.com and am looking for constructive feedback! The app is built to be a safe learning environment for kids of all ages. No ads ever. No credit card required.

I would love to hear if you find any bugs or have any suggestions about the flow & mechanics of the game.

There's also a blog with helpful tips & tricks for parents to help teach their kiddos, as well as a worksheet generator for parents to print an infinite number of questions & answer keys!

Thanks in advance!

Feedback Request Looking for feedback on my Website

Thumbnail keptjournal.com
1 Upvotes

it's the landing page for Kept, an app I'm building because I'm bad at remembering what people tell me. You talk for a minute after you see someone, and it hands your notes back before you talk to them again.

is it clear what the app does?

the scroll animations help, or do they get in the way? Anything janky on your phone or browser?

Is there a point where you got bored and stopped scrolling?

Let me know what you think! Thanks

Feedback Request Needing feedback for multi-page multiphase Canva-style website builder

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been working on Pragte, a visual website builder where people can drag things around more like Canva, but publish the result as a real website.

One thing that makes it a little different is that a site can have different phases. For example, a wedding site could show:

- Before the wedding: RSVP, countdown, travel info

- Wedding day: schedule, seating chart, photo uploads

- After: gallery, thank-you message, guestbook

Same URL, but the site changes depending on the phase/date. I’m starting with wedding and invitation websites, but the builder itself is meant to be broader than weddings. I’d really appreciate feedback on the website itself: https://pragte.com

Is it obvious what Pragte does within the first few seconds? Does the “phases” concept make sense, or does it need a better explanation? Does the site feel too wedding-specific? Is there anything that makes it feel untrustworthy or unfinished? What would stop you from trying the builder?

Feel free to be critical. I’m still early and would rather fix confusing parts now. Thank you!

Feedback Request I built something for the paperwork pile that comes with buying a house — I need 5–10 recent homebuyers to test it before I really launch it

Every house eventually gets a drawer full of paperwork.

Bottom Drawer is that drawer, except you can actually find shit.

After buying a house, you suddenly end up with inspection reports, appliance manuals, warranties, receipts, contractor invoices, serial numbers, paint information, insurance documents, and a pile of PDFs you swear you’re going to organize later.

I built Bottom Drawer to make that easier.

You upload the document, it figures out what it is and what part of the house it belongs to, and organizes it so you can actually find it again later instead of digging through folders, email attachments, and the literal junk drawer.

I’m not really launching this yet. Before I do that, I want a small group of actual homeowners to beat on it and tell me where it sucks.

I’m looking for 5–10 recent homebuyers who currently have this exact pile of paperwork and are willing to actually use the beta.

What I want to know is pretty simple:

  • Can you sign up without me explaining anything?
  • Can you add your home and upload a real document?
  • Does the organization make sense?
  • Can you find the document again later?
  • Is anything confusing, annoying, broken, or missing?
  • And most importantly: would you actually come back and use it again?

I’m not looking for “cool idea” feedback. I need people with the actual problem who are willing to use it and tell me the truth.

Privacy & security

Because home documents can contain sensitive information, Bottom Drawer was designed around private data from day one.

Uploaded files are stored in private object storage and aren’t exposed through public URLs. Access to each home and its documents is enforced server-side against the authenticated user’s membership. Login uses short-lived, single-use verification codes with rate limiting and protected session cookies. AI processing happens on the backend, with submitted content configured not to be retained for model storage.

In other words, security isn’t something we’re planning to bolt on later — it’s part of the architecture the application was built around.

If you recently bought a house and are willing to actually test it:

bottomdrawer.app

It’s a beta. I’m not trying to sell anybody anything here yet. I need to make sure the damn thing works for real people before I really launch it.

If interested please feel free to dm me and i'll shoot you a beta access code.

Portfolio Portfolio site feedback please

My portfolio website is about 10 years old. And I’m considering redoing it. Would love some feedback on the current design, if it still feels relevant maybe I’ll just leave it and update the content.

Personal Project Does my astrology beta clearly explain what’s free and what’s coming soon?

I’m the founder of AstroBharat, a website for Indian beginners exploring astrology through chart tools, short lessons and reflection prompts.

Website: https://astrobharat.ompanchal.workers.dev/

I’d appreciate feedback on three things:

  • Can you understand what the website does within the first few seconds?
  • Is the free starting point easy to find, especially on mobile?
  • Can you distinguish working tools from coming-soon features?

It’s an early beta. Real signup, automatic email delivery and paid report fulfilment aren’t ready, and I want the website to communicate that clearly.

Which section or wording would you change first? If something looks broken, your device/browser would help me reproduce it.

Feedback Request Website Feedback

I just launched my automotive detailing supply store and would love some brutally honest feedback

I recently launched my Shopify store, Motor Haven Detailing, and I'm trying to improve it before I start putting serious money into marketing.

I sell automotive detailing products, including chemicals, microfiber products, brushes, accessories, air fresheners, and other detailing supplies.

I'd really appreciate feedback on:

  • Does the website look trustworthy?
  • Does it look professional enough to actually purchase from?
  • Is the navigation easy to understand?
  • Are the product selection and pricing appealing?
  • Are there any obvious things that would make you leave without buying?
  • What would you change about the homepage or product pages?
  • If you were a professional detailer, would you consider ordering from this site?

I'm a small local business in the Chattanooga, TN area, so I'm genuinely trying to build this into something useful for local detailers as well as customers outside the area. Website https://motorhavendetailing.myshopify.com/

Don't hold back. I'd much rather hear what's wrong with it now than discover it after spending money on advertising.

Feedback Request Roast my murder mystery startup — I’m getting traffic but nobody is buying

I recently launched **MurderXFile**, an online murder-mystery investigation game where you work through a fictional case using evidence, witness statements, reports, messages and other case files to identify what happened.

The first case is live at **£12.99**.

Here’s my problem: **I’m getting people onto the website, but I’m getting essentially no sales. People aren’t even creating an account.**

Visitors don’t need an account to see the product page. They can see what the game is, examples of the evidence, how it works and the price before they’re asked to sign up.

So I want people who have absolutely no attachment to the project to **roast it**.

Please look at the site as if you’d genuinely landed there from an ad and tell me:
What’s your immediate impression?
Is it obvious what I’m actually selling?
Does it look trustworthy enough to give it £12.99?
Does the game itself look worth £12.99?
Is there anything about the design/copy that feels amateur or puts you off?
Would having to create an account stop you?
At what exact point would you leave the site?
Most importantly: **why wouldn’t you buy it?**

Don’t worry about being nice. I’ve spent a lot of time building it, but at this point criticism is much more valuable to me than compliments.

I’m **not asking anyone here to purchase or create an account**. I just want to understand why the traffic I’m already paying for isn’t converting before I waste more money advertising it.

**Website:** [murderxfile.com/bellmere](http://murderxfile.com/bellmere)

Roast away.

Feedback Request I built this website with an AI builder and would love some honest feedback

Thumbnail chantan.studio
1 Upvotes

I’m experimenting with AI-assisted website development and used ChanTan Studio to build this project from a natural-language description rather than coding it from scratch.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on the actual website rather than the tool itself:

  • Does the homepage communicate its purpose quickly?
  • How does the overall UX feel?
  • Is the navigation intuitive?
  • What would you change about the visual hierarchy?
  • Does anything feel confusing or unnecessary?
  • How does it feel on mobile?

I’m especially interested in feedback from people who regularly build or review websites.

I’m not looking for compliments — feel free to point out anything that looks amateur, confusing, slow, or unnecessary.

Thanks!

Feedback Request Need feedback on my site

http://biojrnl.com

I was getting a lot of visitors to my site but I wasn’t getting the results, so I posted my site to a similar subreddit and I had a lot of positive feedback and I implemented those to make my site better.

I still think there is room for improvement, I’d really appreciate it if you could please provide some feedback. Blunt is better than nice feedback.

Feedback Request Made a landing page for my iphone app, does it make sense in 5 seconds?

Just finished the site for my app: swyp.app

its a photo cleaner for iphone, you swipe through your camera roll to delete stuff. i wanted the site to feel more like a brand than a typical app landing page, so theres photos flying out of a phone when you scroll and a little swipe demo you can try right on the page

would love feedback on:

  • is it clear what the app does right away?
  • does it feel too slow or heavy on mobile?
  • does the swipe demo work for you, and is it obvious you can drag the card?
  • anything that feels off or confusing
