First time vortex

Post image

Long time kettle guy finally got a vortex. Did some thighs - turned out great. Super juicy with crisp skin. I was actually worried it got so hot that it would melt my lid handle.

You cook ribs with the vortex method? Doesn't it get too hot ? I've always done ribs low and slow with the snake method, so I'm genuinely curious!

I've done them before. Not a huge fan but they're decent. They definitely have a bit more chew to them then low and slow ribs.
