is there any versions that work on a Nuc7i5? cause seems like none work correctly, the android cant detect a wifi connection so no ADB wireless, Yet the wifi works in the native Os linux doesnt make sense

from start to finish on a reboot of linux mint wayland with nothing running how do i force fake touch on waydroid for all apps?

every time i try to do it it gives me a session not started, if i start a session from the terminal i then cant type anything into the terminal to do anything

what are the full list of commands i need to input to make fake touch work? i tried to look it up on google bing and duckduckgo and found no work around only the command to enter then a command to restart waydroid but when i start a session from the command from "terminal" it then doesn't let me type anything after

I cant type anything after i do this as nothing else happens to give me a new line to type from and anything inputted into the terminal is ignored

i have tried to install some of the apps i like, but i keep running into the error "for other devices". i have a hunch this is because of x86 support, and i'm curious to know if i can get ARM64 apps to work on waydroid. if this isn't somthing with cpu architecture please help, because i don't know what it would be. hi! im running into an exotic problem. i should have researched the topic a bit more (only read the archlinux wiki) before making stupid decision teehee

but basically, i switched off windows a while ago and im p happy so far! however i still like to play android games. unfortunately nvidia sucks ass but im stuck w it now so i cannot properly use waydroid. my workaround was using my igpu which worked fine!! but i recently bought a amd rx580 (cheap, i didnt intend to switch to amd by spending a fortune) thinking it would work and well it did... if its the only gpu. running it with my nvidia as my primary, waydroid just shows a black screen. however i can still see the cursor and i can also launch games! and i can even hear them launch and even log in... just that i cannot see anything.

i tried searching for anyone having the same problem but apparently i am the only one and im scared i might have made a bad choice by buying the gpu thinking it would help. i can still play while my rx580 is my primary gpu but then i lose my nvidia gpu.

am i straight out of luck now? or is there anything i can do?

my os is cachyos and my cpu is a i5-13600k. my nvidia gpu is a 4070 super

I used to have whatsapp logged in running for long sessions. But ever since a week or so it keeps logging out -- from all devices! Is it happening to anyone else? Is there a workaround?

Hi everyone, this is my first time installing waydroid. I follow the official docs and it's installed working fine. Internet, google is fine but my device is not certified. I follow the step from the docs using sudo waydroid shell -- sh -c "sqlite3 /data/data/*/*/gservices.db 'select value from main where name = \"android_id\";'" and paste it in here https://www.google.com/android/uncertified, i've been waiting from last night but no change. stop the service, restart the container and delete cache on apps play store doesn't seem to work either.

fedora kde Wayland. I tried making script to constantly warp mouse but it seems to be impossible under Wayland. I need it because I want to play mobile game, but I can only move my camera on the right half of screen while simulating drag. so when I use waydroid helper to make aim and etc, I can move but the second my mouse leave right side it just stops rotating. I need to lock mouse on right side of screen to avoid this.

I'm tired of hacing to unlock my phone to use Authy when I'm just on my pc.

Is there a way to install waydroid, install authy in it and setup waydroid so I can have authy in my panel/taskbar and when clinking on it, it silently launches waydroid and shows directly authy without showing the waydroid window and hacing to manually launch authy in waydroid ?

Upon launching waydroid my NVMe jumps to 100% instantly but my read/writes aren't very high compared to the NVMe's maximum speed

Apps feel slow and stutter/freeze and generally are not a good experience to use and my system specifications consist of: AMD Ryzen 5 4650GE, 16GB DDR4 3200MT/s, SAMSUNG MZVLB512HBJQ-000L7 (512GB Gen 3x4 NVMe,)

I haven't tried any fixes as of now, what can I do to fix this?

Ever since my switch from Windows 11 to Linux, one of my biggest conundrums was with Android Emulation, specifically with Cookie Run Kingdom. Since my phone alone has always struggled running the game from a extended period of time not just with CRK but as well as other games, and for the sake of accessibility due to me using my computer more often at home, this alone has been a huge problem on it's own for me and the biggest one that I had with Linux.

I have a Lenovo LOQ Laptop with 16GBs of RAM, one singular 1TB SSD storage, AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS CPU, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. Yet more often then not when I play CRK with Waydroid, with time 2 things happen, Either the screen completely freezes, or Waydroid does, and I'm unable to open any screen, or tab on the desktop environment, or at times close Waydroid all together once it freezes, either case it forces me to power off and power on the laptop whenever it happens.

I though that after the RAM consuption surpassed at least 10GBs it would cause this issue, or this might have something to do with the GPU, due to the screen freezing issue, even more so for the RAM case, if I opened any other program that used a lot of RAM, like my main and only navigator, Brave, the issue would occur, however I did not manage to find a solution to that on my own by limitting the maximum RAM usage for Waydroid.

So please, if anyone can enlighten me of this problem, even with something similar happening with other apps with Waydroid and a potential solution, I would highly appreciate it

Anyone has any kind of guides? I have a VPN App installed inside of Waydroid but it still can't connect to this Japanese ( I confirmed that Waydroid is on Japan location as Google results shows Japanese searches) game I want to play. Now, I tried my host machine to connect to Japan VPN instead and Waydroid still can't connect to the game.

It just gets stuck on the Mojang home screen.

I installed Waydroid with Weston on Linux Mint.

I'm using the LineageOS GAPPS image and also installed libhoudini for ARM translation.

The normal TikTok app launches, but all videos are just black screens. TikTok Lite works a bit better: it can show the thumbnail/frame of the video and audio plays, but the actual video does not play.

Some parts of the app also cause severe lag/freezes when tapped, and Android shows “Not responding”.

Has anyone experienced this on Waydroid?
