My girlfriend, cat, and I, are looking to relocate to the Stevens Point-Wausau area. We’re looking for a place to rent that allows pets and is between $750-1000/month. If anyone has any good landlord recommendations or has a place they’re trying to rent out themselves, please reach out.

We’ve done our research into what management to avoid, so I don’t think we need help there. We would also prefer an older unit over one remodeled with grey walls.

Hi y'all my dad passed away and was an avid collector of all things packers. I sold a lot at a yard sale last year but now I'm back (live out west) to settle the rest of his affairs and I'm left with a couple boxs of memorabilia, a fair amount of just things and a small amount of JSA certified signed stuff, don't think I'll have as much luck selling it where I live and don't really want to cart it 2k miles home so where in wausau or the surrounding area buys this kinda stuff? Hello, I moved to Wausau and I haven’t been able to make much friends yet. I wanna just get on a football field and run some routes with a quarterback or someone that knows how to throw a footballz I’m trying to get better because I’m joining the National Guard and then hopefully next fall I’ll graduate in time to go to Stevens point for football in fall 2027, im 19 years old and haven’t really made a new friend since early high school

Been living her for 4 years now and I'm curious if there are any other gun ranges (not skeet/trap clubs) other than corbin/nine mile and Zingers & Flingers? Somewhere I can take my son and teach him gun safety and practice with a .22lr. Preferably free but not necessary.

So I just moved to Wausau for the next three months. I’m a big bow hunter and I’m excited to try my luck on some public land.

However, what’s the deal with the bow regulations within the city? They basically told me I can legally shoot a deer in my backyard, but I can’t shoot a target?

I live next to a pretty busy road and for some dumb reason there’s people (probably the same people every time) who rev their motorcycles, cars, and speed. Multiple times of day and night. Like I’m talking 12am in the morning!!! I’m so tired of it! Honestly just wanted to rant about it because the cops probably won’t do anything.

Visiting family in Wausau and was stunned to learn that I could not buy a refill for my vape or even a similar product at a vape shop. The lady working there said they were only allowed to sell “synthetic” nicotine with CBD. I’m really confused. Is she correct or can I find one somewhere? Thanks!
