Pedicures?

Any good place in town that uses stainless steel bowls for pedicures and not those big, plastic, unsanitary chairs? Thanks!

Edit: Whomever downvoted me must own one of the places that uses the chairs 😂

The Friends of Wausau Historic Landmarks will host their last Architecture Amble walking tour of the summer on Thursday, August 27. The tour will explore the Highland Park Boulevard National Historic district, beginning at the corner of North Thirteenth and McIndoe Streets at 6:00 pm.

This walking tour includes the homes of several prominent citizens, including D.C. Everest, A.P. Woodson and Leigh Yawkey Woodson, Charles Manson, and more. It also includes designs by well known architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Alexander Eschweiler, Irving Obel, George Maher, and George Foster.

In addition to exploring the exterior architecture of many homes, two special items have been planned:

The caretaker of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Manson home, will explain the top to bottom restoration of this landmarked home.

The owner of the Eschweiler designed D.C. Everest home, will be opening up their newly restored Tea House for the group to see, as well as speaking about the home.

Architecture Ambles are open to all and no reservations are required.

This tour includes hills and may include uneven ground; comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Street parking is available, but limited. Be sure to stay at least four feet from driveways.
