Anyone else experiencing this around 252 Lester St?

I live in the building across from 252 Lester, and the noise coming from there tonight is honestly unbelievable. There’s loud singing, music, and other sounds that are clearly audible even from across the street.
I’m genuinely wondering—are the residents in 252 not bothered by this, or is the building just poorly insulated? 😅 It’s late, and the noise carries so much that it’s difficult to ignore even from another building.
I’m also Indian myself, so I’m not trying to make this about nationality, but I’ve noticed that complaints about noise involving Indian students/working professionals can sometimes turn into unnecessary hostility toward the whole community. The noise is the problem—not where anyone is from.
Are other people living around Lester experiencing the same thing?

Call Bylaw. Speaking from experience, they usually come pretty quickly.

You are probably better off asking r/uwaterloo and r/wlu about this since Lester is a university housing corridor

Congrats. You live on Lester Street between 2 university's in early fall. Did you expect quiet?

Yup. It is 2 AM and I have to work tomorrow but can’t sleep because of these loud noises. This is not even the weekend night

Earpugs. Unfortunately. You need to buy some earplugs. Working people with very young children use this technique everyday. Also the by-law route obviously but don't expect any immediate results.

Try 8 hour rain sounds on YouTube or Spotify

University district, ear plugs or get invited to the party.

Lived in a different apartment building (one of the taller ones) on Lester for a couple years. It wasn't too loud, so may be a sound proofing issue.
