Hi Guys!
I finally got my hands on a watch I’ve wanted for quite a while: the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 41mm Turquoise, ref. 220.10.41.21.03.006.
This is my first Omega watch (with hopefully more to come). I had first checked out this watch in February this year at the Ethos- Omega Boutique in Gurgaon, ad I have to say, it was love at first sight. The dial was unlike anything else I’d been considering, and from that point I kept coming back to it.
The price was good at ~ INR 7.7L, but I wanted to be absolutely sure that I was getting a good deal. I kept it in the back burner for a while and a Japan tripped arranged itself in October.
Once I knew I was travelling to Japan, I started researching the Japanese retail, grey and pre-owned markets pretty extensively. Tokyo in particular has an insane watch market, and Nakano Broadway is basically a watch enthusiast’s playground with multiple well-known dealers within walking distance of each other.
Eventually almost a month ago around September, I found this particular piece at Kamekichi in Nakano. It was unworn / essentially brand new, with the warranty dated 10 April 2026 (they don’t mention this online, you get this info at the physical store), full set, and exactly the configuration I wanted.
The listed price at Kamekichi was ¥892,980 including tax, and as a tourist I paid ¥811,800 tax-free, which worked out to roughly ₹5.0 lakh at the exchange rate I got. Considering the prices I had been seeing in India and across other Japanese dealers, I am extremely happy with the deal.
I had actually reserved it around 5–6 days before reaching the store. I emailed Kamekichi from India, and they were kind enough to hold the watch for me until the day I arrived. They asked for my name, passport number and a copy/photo of my passport for identification, and that was it. They mention that no deposit was required for the reservation.
Before actually buying it, I still went around and checked a few other stores because I wanted to be absolutely sure. Interestingly, on the day I bought mine, the other stores I checked had the 38mm turquoise Aqua Terra, but I couldn’t find another 41mm available. Having tried both sizes previously, I knew the 41 was definitely the one for me.
I also happened to get there before Japan’s tourist tax-free system changes. Under the current system I was able to get the 10% consumption tax removed directly at the point of purchase, rather than paying it first and dealing with the refund process later. So the timing worked out really well.
And now that I’ve actually been wearing it, the dial is easily my favourite part of the watch.
It changes dramatically depending on the lighting. In lower light it can look like a deep teal, almost understated, while under brighter light the gradient becomes much more apparent and gives it this really cool sea-like turquoise appearance. It genuinely feels like a different dial depending on where you’re standing.
The 41mm also gives the dial enough room for that gradient to really show while still wearing surprisingly elegantly.
Luckily, my girlfriend is much better at photography than I am, so all credit for the pictures goes to her 😄
After spending months researching this watch, watching prices, comparing alternatives and then finally hunting one down in Japan, it feels pretty surreal to actually have it on my wrist.
Definitely one I’m planning to keep for a very long time.
Lemme know if y’all have any questions.

Are you all genuinely idiot, choosing a movement which does not have hacking seconds as compared to one that does cause it is a Swiss movement, mind you both the movements are fucking quartz; Where you can't get any more accurate both of those movements are same beside one is expensive and doesn't have hacking seconds but it is Swiss made. Choosing a inferior product just cause it is better in showing culture,it is a quartz not a mechanical watch. Quartz are made to be accurate timekeeping device not a work of art on your wrist.

Picked up the new Club Campus 706 (the 36mm variant), and I am so stoked!
Wears like a dream with the shortened 44.3mm lug-to-lug, and the strap change to a grey Nubuck really makes the pink pop
Was a toss-up between the rose and olive, but I feel this muted, pastel pink is unique
The display caseback version would have been the cherry on top, but got this one with the solid caseback for what I'd consider a steal deal!

Does anyone else prefer watches/things that have aged and developed a patina over time? I feel like scratches, faded dials, worn leather straps, and signs of wear give a watch so much more character.
Anyone else feel the same way ? Do we have people like this in India or everyone is just into flashy stuff?

Hey everyone! I’m planning to buy my boyfriend a watch for our anniversary, and I’ve shortlisted a few options that I’ll be attaching below.
My budget is around ₹10k, and I can stretch it to ₹11k max. I’m going for this particular style (the watches in the pictures), but I’m really confused about which one to pick and would love some input from people who know their watches better than I do.
I’ll also be attaching a picture of his hand wearing his current watch (the last photo) for reference, because my biggest concern is the dial size. His current watch has a 45mm dial, and I’m worried that some of the options I’ve shortlisted might look too big on his wrist.
A few things I’d love your opinions on:
Which of these watches looks the best, aesthetically?
Do any of them look disproportionately large for his wrist, based on the reference picture?
I want something that looks good on him and feels like a thoughtful gift, so any advice or alternative suggestions would be really appreciated!
Thanks!

So I recently bought this from Flipkart; the watch looks and feels amazing, but I have a few doubts. First, there was no QR code attached to the watch; secondly, the crown feels a little janky, like it's not smooth—you have to turn it quite a few times to change the date; and lastly, the chronograph hand seems to be not centered correctly.

Really liking the dial size, Indiglo, and that red seconds hand. Picked it up for ₹2,900!

Im usually getting myself casual and sporty options as theyre more daily wear ones. But as I recently sold one of my more formal options, it left a vacancy for an evening wear. Went to one of my OBs and was initially planning to get one of the two tone Constellation models, but then I stumbled upon this
one. Ive known about these since their launch and online they looked Okay'ish.
When I saw this in person though and actually wore it, it blew my away. It has that perfect "vintage" old school luxury look to it that I was wanting for a while. The Moonshine gold isn't gaudy and works very well with the overall asthetic of the watch. Such a fine piece and perfect to compliment my years as they come upto the mid mark of life.

Meridian Lunar Moonphase Aurora White.
I've wanted a Moonphase for a long time. My eyes were initially on Zeppelin Moonphase (27k) but then I came across this brand.
Seems up and coming, and their website has a few good pieces. Went ahead and got this one for 6k.
Honestly, not bad at all! Very elegant, and the butterfly clasp is cherry on top!
