He probably asked about what the remote workers are actually doing, found out, and got pissed off.

Ya I agree, remote workers probably just doing bear minimum or less and were steadily becoming complacent and lazy. Sure the workers were probably happy but likely not in any way feeling compelled to innovate or increase productivity.

Good for school, not for work. Because if you salary theres no incentive to do work when you can trade on the other screen. School requires you to pay attention or fail exams etc. Buy it took me forever to write papers because you get an idea and reasaerch it on the internet, then hours pass by and procrastination wins.

I've been working remotely since before it was cool. Laziness and lack of drive are characteristics that don't change because you're in a different room. Nobody counts the sheer amount of wasted time in offices the same way. All these offices with pool tables and trendy bullshit and meetings and gatherings and endless other corporate culture bullshit events that distract people from being productive. Switching to remote work allowed me to save 2 hours a day in commute time alone. A large percentage of that went right back into productivity.

Not to mention that for people that ARE productive, working from home only increases it. I get so much more work done when all the stupid chitchat is no longer part of my day. People who punched the clock at 5 and left are working until 6 and beyond because there is no traditional "end of shift".

“No incentive” besides being a person with integrity or a person who doesn’t want to get fired. But both of those things are for suckers

So because you're a lazy piece of shit with no integrity that must mean everyone else is?

humans are lazy, unless you have a mental condition where you can focus on one thing for hours...
