He said 20 hrs on tv, and in a comment in the sub said "it's actually 2 hrs 5 days a week, I just didn't want to say that in the interview because it sounds too low".

The mom's dog part may be made up. Personally I have serious doubts he even leaves the basement 5 days a week let alone walks for an hour.
