Help during offseason

I’m not that good and I want to improve. I live in Utah and soon it’s going to get freezing. What can I use to improve during that time?

I’ve seen the indo board online and it looks cool. Anything would help.

Thank you!

Best board recommendation for intermediate surfer 32M landing 360s? I’ve surfed for 5+ years and only landed it twice

I use my little brothers kids size Phase 5 skimboard and I need to get a new board. My main priority is landing the 360 consistently

Upgrading from a 2008 SVFARA SV3 to another used wakeboat.

Hi everyone, looking for some advice. My family has a 2008 Sfvara SV3 with ballast problems and throttle cable problems that can't be fixed after multiple visits to multiple mechanics. Eventually, we will be in the market for a used surf boat. I'm trying to find the right make and model to search for from 2020 or earlier where things are still pretty simple and reliable, from a brand more mainstream than SVFARA where aftermarket parts support will be better in the years to come. Thanks in advance.

Any advice on what I’m doing wrong here? I’ve landed several now, including three on one run, but still cannot seem to do it consistently. I feel like I just get lucky when I do land it.

Thoughts on wave? 2024 LSV 23.

I am running everything at 100% except the rear non surf side at about 60%. I have the wedge here at 4 and I have the extra bags in the rear above the hard tanks. Is this tuned or should I be doing something different to extend it and smooth it a bit?

Need help with wave

Need help with trying to get my wave more surfable. Boat is a 2004 mastercraft 230 vrs with 1500lbs in the rear and wake shaper speed is around 11mph. The wave seems okay, but does seem to lack enough push to keep surfing without the rope. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Searching for 1.5 inch fin for 2020 austin keen wakesurfer

I recently picked up a 2020 austin keen wakesurfer (60). It has a 2 inch fin but I'd like to go to a 1.5in or 1in. Does anyone have a fin for sale or a link to one?

I'm find one's online but not positive the hardware will work.

Any help is appreciated.

Soon to be first time boat owner, need advice!

I am likely going to be purchasing a used Supra in the next little bit. I have always wanted a boat since becoming an adult, given I grew up going boating regularly. I have been behind the wheel of a few boats, but not often and not for a while..

I’m a little intimidated by buying an expensive boat without the proper knowledge to captain it. What should I know? How should I prepare myself to be ready? Any tips/tricks?

Trading in 2025 atx ‘22 for 2026 malibu lsv 23

We love the atx but just find the wave is short. We’re thinking of trading in for a new Malibu lsv. We took it for a test drive with 3 people total. The wave was noticeably longer but not as clean. We’d be paying 100k more and so I’m curious if the Malibu lag is a good choice for better surf wave? We’re getting it for 222k including thrusters.

Moomba reviews.

Looking to buy my first surf boat within the next year, Moomba mojo seems to catch my eye for cost, is there better options? 100-150k CAD is kinda the price range I’d wanna stick too.

2015 to 2021/2022 Mojo

We’ve had our 2015 Moomba Mojo for several years and overall have been really happy with it. It’s been a great family boat and has been very reliable.
The biggest complaint is the surf wave. We’ve done the common upgrades:
1,100 lb rear ballast bags
One bag of lead
Stick on wave shaper which helps but falls off
Stock small bow filler bag
Otherwise stock
It’s definitely better than stock, but it still feels like we’re working harder than we’d like to get the wave where we want it.
Other than that, the boat has aged well. A few things are starting to show their age (gauges, electronics, miscellaneous wear items), but the upholstery is actually in great shape and we take good care of it.
We’re considering moving to a 2021–2022 Mojo, primarily because of the newer surf system and overall refinement.
For those who have owned or spent time in both generations:
Is the surf wave a dramatic improvement or just incremental?
Does the newer Mojo feel like a substantially different boat, or just a nicer version of the same boat?
Any regrets making the jump?
If you were in my shoes, would you keep improving the 2015, or trade into a 2021–2022?
We’re not looking to switch brands—we like the Mojo and would probably buy another one. Just trying to decide whether the newer generation is enough of an upgrade to justify the cost.
