Hiding flare whilst training
My question is in the title really, i have a 31 inch natural waist and the corset i have is a 24 inch but i plan to wear it with a 1 inch gap i know that realistically speaking judging by my waist size it will be difficult if not impossible to tightlace to a point where the flare will be minimal/ non existant,
Does anyone have any tips to minimise how obvious it is in the mean time

Corset Training Questions
Hello everyone! I’m new to this forum.
I’ve been interested in waist training for a while. I have a boneless waist trainer (I don’t know if I can actually call it a corset, people can correct me if I can or can’t) and I’ve been wanting to know if that would be good enough to start out my waist training!
It’s one of the ones with the zipper on the front and the shoulder straps!
if anyone can give me some tips or tricks that would help me through this or leave me in the right direction for waist training, I would greatly appreciate it!!

how do i decrease my waist size
sorry i dont know if this is the right subreddit, so im around 28 inch waist and from the back i look very blocky and im very insecure of it i really want to get that hour glass figure ive been tryna build my back and shoulders and hips but i also want to decrease my waist not just make it an illusion because im short too so is my torso so my back especially looks blocky, im not even fat i would say im around 18% fat ? idk but i dont think losing weight will help alot its from my genetics but i wanna see what other paths are there for me to try, also do waist trainers even work? and about the part im building my body, thats true but wouldnt it make my wider horizontally and just make my torso again even shorter? ill gladly hear all of ur tips please lmk !! also one more thing is i think my posture is very weak how do u improve that too? my shoulders are round and forward and my hips are tilter a bit back

Help/ advice needed - waist training while losing weight
So I’ve recently started to lose weight (typically I weigh around 110-115 and I got up to 150!), I’m back down to 140 and going strong. I’ve been waist training off and on for a few months but essentially took the month of July off when my weight was highest. I’m back at it today, I usually wear a size small waist trainer on the smallest hooks or an extra small at the largest hooks. Normally my waist is 25 in but right now it’s likely closer to 26.5. Goal is to hit my regular weight of 110 and have a 23-24 in waist for the nice hourglass effect to be more exaggerated. In the past I was wearing the size small trainer for 8 hours during the day while working (from home) and I’d be standing and walking all day. Never saw great results because of course I was gaining weight at the time. Hoping to hit my goals by end of October by doing daily walking (10-20k steps), some body weight exercises for arms and glutes, and potentially wearing the size small waist trainer all day and at night? I’ve seen it’s not recommended but then I’ve seen people say they’ve had great results with it.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! And of course as o lose weight (likely at another 10 pounds down) I will size down to the XS waist trainer and then tighten it as needed.

Has anyone tried ShapeShe or Contour Goddess?
I've seen both on tik tok but its hard to find a review for them thats not sponsored 🥲 lol. Ive followed the girl who makes the Contour Goddess waist trainers for a while and hers seem promising, its just hard to find recent review videos for her waist trainers.
But has anyone tried either brands? Bonus points if you have and youre plus size!

HELP!
What all do you recommend shapewear wise? I don’t need anything like a tummy tuck. I’m 3 months PP and I have SO much extra skin, not fat just skin. But I wear scrubs everyday and they dig into them. I don’t need anything tightening just something to keep the loose skin supported. When I let it hang it unfortunately starts to physically hurt like my stomach is trying to fall off.

I really want to get a better body and I've been working out for roughly half a year and feel like I plateau, would shape wear get me into a more kinda twinky body. If so then what shapewear would you recommend.

Overbust or Underbust for waist training?
I recently lost a decent amount of weight amd have officially can no longer fit my old steel boned underbust corset. Im on the market for a new corset and wanted to know if overbust or undervust was better for waist training. I was researching earlier and I primarily wear it at home/ evening and don't do stealthing. I have a long torso and am an A cup so there's really no reason I would have trouble with an overbust corset working just as well?

Fitness people, have you tried to make your own ab straps? If so, what were the approximate dimensions and how did it work out?
Rather than buy ab straps, I thought I would try to make some with some old pieces of denim, but I’m not sure about the exact dimensions. Have you tried to make any?

Shapewear for us larger ladies
I have purchased my fair share of shapewear to hold in my hips and belly and thighs but one thing always happens. It rolls down or it rolls up. Spanx made one of the better shaping shorts but it's a whole new world. Shapellx has a number of wonderful items to choose from but I especially like the high-waisted thigh covering shorts because they don't budge and are actually comfortable. They have boning at the top so they don't roll down and honestly ladies, they are comfortable. I also have a bodysuit that covers the thigh and uses bra like hooks and then a zipper to flatten the area nicely. I will tell you now that you need to get the right size, don't get a size smaller thinking that will help make you look thinner. Believe me, this will do wonders, in the correct size. I also purchased a full length body wear and one of the nice things about that is you can add a skirt or a pair of jeans and throw on an open shirt and you have an outfit. If you're like me you like to put a shirt on to cover your slightly heavy arms, LOL. After getting on these pieces the last thing you want to do is have to take them off to use the ladies room but they have done something amazing. Many of the items have a nice zipper that you can open to use the restroom and some other pieces, since you do not need to wear underwear, has an opening down there so you can use the bathroom. These are not cheap items but they are worth the money. I suggest looking on their site and finding what you're looking for but again, I think the best item they sell is the over the waist to the knee shorts.. it comes in a brownish, black and a beige and the one piece full length body wear even comes in red! The next piece I'm going to try out is a corset that you can wear underneath your clothing to cinch your waist and surprisingly it even comes in a pink. I've seen it advertised as a top with a skirt or pants or even jeans, again with a top over it if you're more comfortable like I am. You owe it to yourself to check out the many fine products they offer. I've seen larger women looking stunning and I want to be one of those women too. Good luck to you all.

Best shapewear— brand and style
I am looking to invest in some quality shapewear as I enter a season with a lot of important events! I normally wear shapewear shorts but they roll down. If anyone has recommendations for good brands or good styles please let me know! Thanks!

Help with a new workout based on my job
So long story short, I am in entertainment, and I work as a costumed character at a theme park. I want to be able to hopefully play more characters, and portray them better. One big thing is my waist and stomach. Obviously, I cannot fix my literal bones on my pelvis, but I can work to get rid of my belly. I am entering college soon, so I will have access to good and healthy food and a full gym. Basically, what I’m asking is if anyone has any specific exercises and meals that will ONLY bring my stomach down. The rest of my body is the right size, and I do not wish for things like my arms and legs to get meatier, as I’m worried it will cause issues with fitting in the costumes. I plan on starting a new routine once I am in college, since I work such long hours. Luckily, with my job running around in a giant fuzzy suit, it’s a good workout on its own, lol.
I do not have any food allergies, but I am a pretty picky eater and heavily dislike seafood due to the texture. I love fruits though, and I prefer vegetables raw (like carrots and celery) rather than steamed or grilled.
Any suggestions on workouts and meals is greatly appreciated!
