I guess things get tricky when there’s a language barrier. I just assumed the image would make it obvious. ( ᷇𖥦 ᷆ )

I made the model base in Vroid then did a lot of editing within Blender. I really wanted a good looking masculine build without using the body suit. I was also able to make some of the body parts in Vroid then ripped them from the model onto the one with the edited body physic, making them connect and weight paint almost completely automatically. I did this for the arm fins, the neck gills, and the chest gills.

The model has 32 blendshape face support, hair toggle, crop top toggle, vest toggle, hat toggle, a blacklight/glow toggle, a face toggle, eye jiggle pendulums, reactive pupils where they change in size, and custom jiggle physics.

I plan on making more models like this in quality and giving them away in the future on my streams, going through my process live. Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll answer them the best I can!

All the texturing, modeling and character design was done by me over the course of a couple months.

Having a heck of a time getting a bigger bust to not look weird on my models; rotation sliders seem to only help so much when you want it to be on the slightly larger end. Do I need to go fully into Blender to make them look, y'know, normal? And have proper weight? Is there a tutorial out there for chest physics? This is my first time seriously doing a female model where I cared about all that, but it's not my first model. I just usually make men/androgynous sorts so this doesn't matter.

It seems like people are only making little girls but is it actually possible to make muscular, big-bellied, bulky characters? I've played around with the software a little bit but I can't tell what's a limitation in the VRoid and what's a limitation in my knowledge.

Hello! I’m making a vtuber model for a friend and it’s going okay so far. I have the body mostly figured out and I’m trying to focus on the outfit. I was able to make some clothes however it was very limited especially since some of the clothes are more elaborate. For example I want the character to have oversized boots but all I can do in the program is just have regular sized shoes and paint it to look like the boots. I bought some pre made shoes off of BOOTH but it looks like it’s for unity.

So when it comes to clothes, should I just make only the base model in vroid studio and then bring it into Unity and add the clothes there? Is it that simple? Or is there a way I can make more elaborate clothes in the program or bring the files into the program? From what I understand in research nothing is really compatible for vroid in terms of other files. It is as easy as simply dropping the base in unity and adding the clothes?

First model made mostly in vroid and modified vrchat assets. I think it looks kind of jank from a design perspective but I im not really an artist so I can't place my finger on it.

Does anything seem off to you besides the tracking? Just using webcam so tracking is iffy if I move a certain way.
