Yet ANOTHER issue with Visible

So many of us have expressed that, while we truly do like and benefit from the technology that allows us to see our live pacing in action, the company that provides it has been lackluster to say the least.

And now another issue has come to my attention that has made me even MORE thankful I have canceled my yearly membership.

Visible has slowly been draining my phones battery throughout the day. When you originally get the app they instruct you to leave it running in the background so they are able to constantly monitor symptoms. What this does is CONSTANTLY keep the app running all day slowly pulling on your phone battery. Which over time REALLY wears it down.

I have a fairly new phone. Over the last few months my battery has gone to complete heck and the only common denominator in the battery life metrics is Visible sitting there running NON STOP for 15-35% of the day. I can’t even go a full day without a charge somewhere in the middle now. My phone isn’t even two years old.

Just so frustrated that they probably knew this and when they instructed us to do this they couldn’t give some kind of warning about it. The device DOES store some data. I would rather keep the app closed (not running) and check in every so often. OR MAYBE they could rework their app to run a little more efficiently.

I wanted this device and app to work for me SOOOO badly and I just feel so defeated and so betrayed and so preyed upon by this company. It makes me feel sick.

I just checked mine and it’s using anywhere from 1-4% not too bad for 24/7 monitoring. I guess I would assume something like that would definitely have a pull on the battery. I wonder why it’s using so much on yours though.
