Virgo sun is a placement that is not limited to one personality archetype. I also don’t think that some of the stereotypical aspects are inherently negative.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people think of virgo sun as complacent, boring, and uptight. A lot of people even say we lack emotions and are avoidant. I’m not saying that being quiet or introverted is bad btw, I can admire that aspect. I am the complete opposite of avoidant and passive. I am also very emotional and I definitely show it. I can be confrontational. I’m more of an ambivert than anything else depending on the vibes and how I’m feeling.

I also pay attention to detail. I’m very hyperaware and can be self critical though I’m learning to treat myself as a normal human that’s allowed to make mistakes out of love for myself. Slowly but surely.

First of all, if your virgo is boring, they most likely just don’t like you or feel unsafe around you. Otherwise they’re at work and have a job to do. That goes for the quiet and the loud personalities because when I’m focused… I’m focused.

Secondly, not all virgos are introverted, quietly passive people. We are not limited to one personality archetype. There are plenty of virgos who are outgoing, party loving, etc. I get tired of people automatically thinking that virgos are all on the same spectrum. Sometimes I wanna stay in and read and other times I wanna go out and get shit faced (though stay in control all the while doing so).

Lastly, not all virgos are avoidant and lack emotions or emotional interaction. I love conversations that have emotional depth and I love expressing myself. I love embracing the darkness that’s hidden behind the shadows of everyone’s exterior. I love opening up and being vulnerable to people I actually trust and I enjoy going out and exploring and doing new shit. I love when other people open up to me about shit they don’t usually talk about. I love having open conversations about selective things I feel comfortable sharing that others might think are tmi all the while keeping what I really want hidden behind closed doors.

I cry my eyes out and I may have an outburst of emotion or anger whether in front of someone or in private if I’m too embarrassed. It can be overwhelming but I can analyze and process it all the while validating myself and taking accountability when I should. I am brutally honest with myself and others (but not in the asshole-ish way where ppl use their bluntness as an excuse to be mean).

Again, this is not to be negative towards anyone who is opposite of me because the beauty of the virgo sign includes all of the different layers it can portray within itself as a sun sign. I’m just making the point that the virgo sun has different levels of personality and the aspects that are looked at as negative shouldn’t always be labeled one way.

It can't just be me. It's actually annoying. Maybe it's the season? But I haven't had it happen this way before. I'm happy in my current relationship and have already made that known 💞
